Report: TNA Announce Team Worried by The Debut of Taz

It's being reported that ever since Taz arrived in TNA there has been some worry on the part of the announce team that things might get shaken up once Taz finishes his role as Samoa Joe's advisor. The general feeling backstage in TNA is that Taz will eventually work for TNA in some sort of commentating position, and there is worry amongst Don West and Mike Tenay that one of them might get replaced should Taz make his way to the announce table. One of the main reasons why TNA went ahead and turned West heel was because they wanted to help solidify him more as a character so that he could better get over with the fans.

Jarrett Sent Home, Rumored to Be Living With Karen Angle.

Jeff Jarrett did not attend last night's Victory Road pay-per-view, nor will be attending this week's slate of television tapings. TNA front office employees were told during a company meeting late last week that he is taking some "personal time off."

Jarrett's sudden absence was a large topic of discussion among wrestlers and employees at last night's pay-per-view. This may have been the first pay-per-view in the company's seven-year history which he was not running and/or backstage.

There is said to be no timetable on when he will return to his duties.

Taz Talks About His TNA Debut, Backstage Reaction.

Last night at TNA's Victory Road Pay-Per-View, Samoa Joe's adviser was revealed to be former WWE & ECW star Taz. After months of build up, Taz came down to ringside during Joe's match with Sting and celebrated with the Samoan ********** Machine after he made Sting tap with the rear naked *****.

John Bradshaw Layfield In Negotiations With TNA.

Former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield appeared on Live Audio Wrestling this past Sunday and said the reason he's no longer with WWE is that when he retired as an active wrestler at WrestleMania in Houston, they didn't offer him anything. He indicated if he was offered an announce position or role as General Manager, he'd have been interested.

Yeah, Jeremy Borash tweeted that "Elijah Burke" would not be joining TNA. Expect a new persona. Otherwise, why tweet at all?

As for JBL, too bad, I guess. He would have made a great GM, as he was always better on the mic than in the ring.
