Nash Speaks On Hogan Not Retiring, Kurt/HBK, MEM vs. nWo
Kevin Nash recently appeared on the MondayNightMayhem.com radio show to promote this Sunday’s TNA Hard Justive PPV. The following are some highlights from the interview:
When asked about Hulk Hogan possibly returning: "As much as people want us to quit, and say that we've had enough, and ‘why don't you walk away‘, until you've walked on that stage, actually when you stand behind that curtain & that first note of your music plays, and the crowd pops, there's not a **** on the planet that's as strong as that....You can't find that anywhere else. For me, I like money. People ask me when I'm gonna stop, and I say this, if you stood in front of an ATM machine, and it was spitting out 20 dollar bills, when would you walk away? I think you would walk away when it stops spiting out 20 dollar bills."
INTRODUCING TNA’S NEWEST KNOCKOUT - HAMADA
She’s 28 with 10 years of in-ring experience, and a lifetime of pro wrestling knowledge truly at her front door.
The newest TNA Knockout, Hamada, was recently signed to a contract and arrives from Japan, best known as the ******** of wrestling sensation Gran Hamada, 59, himself a wrestler of 35 years.
Expect great things from this Orient import.
“I would compare Hamada with AJ Styles, because she’s simply phenomenal,” TNA’s Awesome Kong said in a rare interview (Kong has also dominated the Japanese wrestling scene). “She’s a triple threat. She’s mastered the Japanese style of wrestling, along with the Mexican lucha libre, and I can see it in her eyes that she wants to be a great American wrestler.”
Hamada wrestled in Mexico in 2007-2008. She has had countless classic battles in her native Tokyo against Japanese sensation Aja Kong.
So if I go to a TNA event, I'll see West selling T-shirts? :rofl:Breaking News: TNA Removes Don West as Color Commentator
by Nick Paglino
Aug 17, 2009
It's being reported by PWInsider.com that at tonight's TNA Impact tapings, Don West was NOT on color commentary and he was replaced by Taz. It seems as if TNA is going with Mike Tenay and Taz as the new announce team and Don West has reportedly been moved into a merchandise sales position within the company.
Update On Don West/TNA Situation, His New Job, More
by Matt Boone
Aug 20, 2009
As we reported earlier this week, Don West was removed from the TNA Wrestling broadcast team (and replaced by Taz) and "promoted" to the company's merchandise and licensing department.
According to PWInsider.com, West was at all of the TNA iMPACT! tapings this week filming vignettes for iMPACT! and TNAWrestling.com to promote various products and merchandise available at the ShopTNA.com website.
Apparently the plan is to have West's background in the collectibles market to push TNA into different areas and create collectible items using TNA's top stars.
I am very happy that the Knockouts are getting their own tag team championship. TNA continues to build up that division by adding more Knockouts and they don't just choose models off the street.

It's just not the same without Don West![]()
You know i was really enjoying West as a heel (after hating him for the longest of time). I like Taz, but West was so much fun!

Jim Ross Comments On Kurt Angle's Arrest.
In a blog posted this afternoon, Jim Ross said Kurt Angle should consider leaving the wrestling industry if he is unable to handle his personal issues.
"I hope that he can recover from this matter and regroup. If regrouping requires Kurt to leave pro wrestling and moving to other endeavors such as acting full-time then so be it," Ross wrote. "Perhaps the former Olympic Gold Medal winning Freestyle Wrestler in the '96 Games in Atlanta puts too much physical pressure on himself in an athletic setting and may be more relaxed and happier if movies were his focus is not being a 'jock.'
