She misses a very important, and stupidly simple point - sure it's "bad people" who commit these acts, but guns amplify the damage exponentially. We've had numerous van/***** attacks across the world since isis came onto the scene, but the death counts are single digits (not including the attacker). The worst might have been the Toronto van ******, and that barely hit 10 people. Compare this to mass shootings in the US - this list doesn't even count it if there are less than 10 fatalities:

And faster and more effectively. Imagine the energy needed to chop 20 or 30 people to death. I get tired even thinking about it.

No, the Democrats have a lot of problems and have a lot of corruption. I will readily admit that, but your statement is just a gigantic false equivalence by playing the bothsidesism card. They reason people here don't rag on them to the same degree is because they aren't as bad. It's that simple. That's not an endorsement of them as much as it's and indictment of how far gone the Republicans are. The Democrats, on the whole, are a standard crappy political party and have been for decades. A lot of them don't give a damn about their constituents, but the Republicans have moved to outright bat **** insanity not seen since well before anybody alive today was born.
I have been ragging on the left less over the past few years. You are correct about politicians taking the cash - at our expense.
