There's a difference between a twisted religion as you put it & religion being the source of morality, as you also put it. . .

& you cannot imply something without realising it, but someone else reading the text in question can infer something that the writer never implied. . .

:rolleyes: That's not the job of the non-believer and it doesn't make the religion's god look powerful enough to have all his followers understand the bible the same. There are many things that every follower either admits or denies in the religion and those things are twisted. Interpretation is regardless.
 
Everyone has that same trouble. If you don't think so, you're probably more lost than you think.

It doesn't matter anyway... you won't fully adhere to the ones you set for yourself. That's the funny part. Chances are, it most likely feature some modified version of ideas already written someplace like the Bible. You've needed some form of guidance all of your life and now you're to big for it I guess? Your choice either way.
