I am pissed that Detroit couldn't score even with the game out of reach and facing Tennessee's 2nd stringers on D, because my Calvin Johnson did nothing the entire game and he's in my fantasy league.

Having Detroit playing on Thanksgiving day every year = Bad idea. Having Jonas Brothers play at halftime = EPIC FAIL.

Browns fans: Brady Quinn is out for the rest of the season. You'll just have to endure Derek Anderson. Sorry.

It's not like Brady Quinn is any better. :dunno:

Personally, I think he's going to suck if/once he becomes the starter, but...that's just me.

bah...more injuries for the cowboys :(

Looks like D-Ware will be okay, but I hope nothing serious is wrong with Marion.

Im glad they won though. It looks like Witten and Romo have hooked back up.

Just hope we can make it through the rest of this tough schedule.

I'm happy for Philadelphia. I would have loved to have been in the Cards' locker room after the game. Whisenhunt must have been a combination of pissed and pleased for Reid. Weird mixed emotions. :D Philly played and won with emotion. Westbrook played hurt. Hats off to the program. :hatsoff:

Anyone else think the NFL is slightly embarrassed by the games those of us without their network had to endure? I couldn't stomach either of them, nevermind all the stuffing and mashed taters.

I didn't watch a single minute of NFL action this Turkey Day. The games just weren't worth my time. We were watching a DVD marathon of "Burn Notice" instead. That might be my new fav TV show.

If Cassel leads the Pats to the AFC Championship Game (whether they win or not is irrelevant) then the Pats have a decision to make. Nobody has a greater Tom Brady mancrush than I do, but the fact is he's coming off of a horrific knee injury. The surgury was practically BOTCHED the first time he had it:rolleyes::mad: and I just wonder if he'll ever be the same. He ain't a spring chicken anymore. He's what, 31? The next time he steps on the field he'll be 32...that kind of puts him on the downside. Besides, I don't think Tom Brady is a no-life-other-than-football loser like Brett Favre. Brady is banging, arguably, the hottest piece of ass on the planet. I think he has post-NFL career plans which he might be inclined to get going on. Brady and Gizelle might fancy themselves as the next Becks/Posh, ya know....

Brady doesn't play a heavy running / movement position however. His knees could be so-so and he could still be fine, standing in the pocket like he always does, making his checkdowns and then breaking records.

I work in Massachusetts, so the sports radio up there is fixated on this 'what can we do with Cassell next year' thing. He was thrust into a system which yielded record breaking numbers last year, so of course he can produce numbers and big games. The weapons around him are what makes him look so incredible.

One thing I do know - there are some wacko Patriots fans out there who think they should trade Brady for a bunch of first-round picks and stick with Cassell. They don't get much talking time before their blown up though..

i think hte patriots will resign cassel....as knee injuries are always iffy....and depending on how training camp goes for brady....cassel could be traded
but who are some possible suitors for cassel? Vikings, Niners, and Lions all need QBs...while the Bucs and Jets are both working with aging QBs

Niners offer Pete Carroll $12 mil a year and he brings Cassel along to San Fran. That's how I see it working.....

Josh McDaniels is being courted as we speak, and he's Cassel's boy. The Pats have Kevin O'Connell in case Brady doesn't make Spring training camp. I don't think the office wants to be strapped with Cassel's price tag while their franchise star is recuping. Look for the Pats to release him as a free agent next season.
