who of you gave nebraska ANY credit?

Credit for what? Getting blown out at home? The "experts" only put this one at a 9.5/10pt spread. Nebraska got taken apart tonight.

There were some early fumble opptys that DIDN'T GO NU's way...are we supposed to say "Sorry that happened":dunno:

You've been running your yap for 2 weeks. You took some lumps tonight.

I couldn't believe Nebraska was so awful in stopping the run. I didn't think that would happen.

a ten minute "injury" that took away every ounce of momentum that nebraska needed to be in the game.

I thought the magic of the Red Sea would keep that from happening:rolleyes: ...don't cry over here if your fans sat on their asses and didn't cheer on the team like they should've.

The Big12 North is HIGHLY WINNABLE this season. If you win it...the Big12 Championship game is known for shocking upsets by HEAVY UNDERDOGS (Texas, KState, Colorado remind anyone??)...so Nebraska vs Okie/Texas...you never know what will happen.

who ever said anything about their fans cheering them on asshole? obviously you saw shit of the game or you would have heard the fans loud.

little boy, if you plan on talking shit to me, come with something tangible or with something that we have debated in the past. :thefinger
and watch the first half again idiot. pre fake injury.

titsrock, learn forums and stop posting 3 times in a row. thats why god created the multi-quote and the edit.

You're an unbelievably poor fan Iamforever. Most "shit talkers" prove to be good sports in the end because they realize that they have no credibility to criticize. You're still in full-throat rage mode. Some of your earlier comments above are appalling. I guess you really believed you were going to win tonight. Nobody outside Lincoln, NE thought you'd win.

Your team let you down tonight and got rolled on national tv. Accept it.

Your going to see highlight after highlight of SC RBs assraping your Defense. Deal with it. It happened. On your field.

The multi-thread "feature" is kinda stupid, fwiw.

first of all the multi is the greatest forum invention ever made.

second, what poor loser? i gave usc credit. you didnt read that obviously.

IAM you wrote this:
i want to see just how "real" that injury is.

Given the "class" that Nebraska Fans/Alums purport to possess in victory and defeat...this is incredibly mean-spirited. It's incredibly mean given the current "eggshells" mentality the football world has over the Kevin Everett injury. USC isn't even a rival?

Your attitude over one of 2 players getting carted off the field was terrible and kind of ruins the euphoria I was feeling recently.

You should be angry with your Defensive coordinator. He was horrible for you tonight. The Blackshirts ran up the white flag tonight...

he was moving his limbs. it wasnt serious enough to have him carted off. did you here any reports on the first guy?

I was looking over the Michigan/Notre Dame game and holly crap does Notre Dame suck this year. I wonder how long it will be before they even win at this rate.

I will show class and answer your inquiry seriously. None of the boards I monitor have anything new on either injury. There won't be anything *official* until Sunday. I don't live in LA so I don't get the postgame radio. ABC said the first (Vincent Joseph), was a bruised larynx. That might mean it will hurt to talk, eat etc for the next week. I assume a crushed larynx is a surgical-kind of injury.

and yet, you wont admit that i gave usc their dap.

I knew UCLA was over-rated, but holy shit!

Utah 44
UCLA 6

Maybe Notre Dame will win a game this year after all (oct 6th vs ucla)

hey, ucla rules! my 8th grade math teacher said so!

i remember in 94, maybe 95? the bruins and huskers met. the huskers won and he said the bruins should have won the game. that sounds familiar to me. how about you bodie? :D

LOL - they haven't ruled since 1954!

They did rule LA through the 1990s, though. Then came that disastrous hurricane delayed game in Miami at the end of '98, when they totally forgot how to tackle
It's been all downhill since. And they were an even better team in '97 than '98. They lost their opener by literally one yard then crushed everybody the rest of the year - but that one yard kept them out of a title game. McNown was one hell of a college quarterback. Talk about a flame out in the pros though - sheeeeesh!

I don't know why but I'm drawing a blank on that game? I remember a wild, high scoring game they played in Lincoln in '87 and lost, to a great extent thanks to that chicken shit Terry Donahue.

remember 2001 or 02 when nebraska and ucla were 1 and 2 in the bcs? ucla fell apart. my friend at the time was a ucla nut. i was really looking forward to crouch and the blackshirts destroying them. but no it was miami and a non deserving husker team in the title game ucla fell apart atfer that. crushed a dream of mine. :(

and solich was wrongfully fired. just like mike hargrove.

Yep. Bob Toledo imploded, and that team totally quit on him. It was embarassing.

I don't doubt that you're right...
Here's what I've got so far from google...
1993 Nebraska beat UCLA 14-13 at the Rose Bowl
1994 Nebraska beat UCLA 49-21 in Lincoln
