Even though the final score of the SC/Nebraska game did not reflect a 35 pt margin...It might've been worse than 35 had SC kept the starters in for another 10 min in that 4th qtr. It was laughable how easy SC was running all night. I've never seen any RB AVERAGE 13 yrds/touch:bowdown: against "legit" competition!
The great Sam Keller had another statistically impressive game...but..in reality...completely meaningless, again. The 2 injuries seemed to sap Nebraska's momentum and USC used the injury time to refocus.
USC is not the best team AT THIS MOMENT, imo. I love them. I want them to win it all. But LSU and Florida are better, right now. USC has a very disappointing passing attack, thus far in the season. JDBooty looks like he has no confidence in any of his WRs other than the damn FB--Stanley Havili. Patrick Turner (#1) looks like a total bust. Hazelton and Ausberry are very raw at this point.
If we are going to be honest and if every game is important...then we need to examine all facets of each team. SC's Defense is legit..the OLine tore apart Nebraska's Dline all night long and embarrassed them in front of their fans and families:1orglaugh
But the passing attack is not sharp as LSU and Florida's. Oklahoma's win over Miami was impressive. LSU/Okie/Florida have to go play a real team on the road, which is why I have no problem keeping SC #1.
It should be a great season. You heard it here first..Navy will beat Notre Dame this year and end the longest losing streak against an opponent currently happening (ND has 30+ straight W's over Navy).
My Top 4 (There are only 4 SUPERSTAR Teams this Season)
1. LSU
2. Florida
3. Oklahoma
4. USC
5.-25.--meaningless this year. The Big Least/Big 10/ACC have nobody in the league of these 4.
Second Tier--Texas/Ohio State/Penn State/West Virginia/Georgia/Cal
(These are the second sisters teams this year.)
