so i downloaded a video that wont play

first off, ill make it known that im not a tech guy. so i have absolutely no idea what the problem is.

but i downloaded an ivy ryder video using myfreeones points, and after multiple disruptions (due to shitty internet) it FINALLY went through. but now WMP and quicktime both say they cant play it.

WMP because it either doesnt support the file, or codec.

so im kinda frustrated cause its been a while trying to get the DL to go through, and now this.

any suggestions?

Hey, sorry to hear about your troubles with the video.
I downloaded it myself and it played just fine with Windows Media Player.

Make sure your WMP is updated to the latest version and has the correct codecs installed.
If that doesn't help you could try a different media player, here's an excellent one:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
It's free and supports way more codecs by default than WMP ever will.

It is also possible the video got corupted since you're saying you had multiple disruptions but in that case all I can suggest is downloading it again.
