Poll: Obama 'worst president' since World War II

Obama: 'Sometimes I wonder whether I was 10 or 20 years too early'
May 30, 2018

President Trump's election reportedly made former President Obama second guess everything.

A new book by Benjamin Rhodes, one of Obama's longtime advisers, paints a portrait of a troubled Obama who struggled to understand the meaning of his successor's victory. Shortly after the 2016 election, Obama wondered whether his administration had "pushed too far," The New York Times reports.

"Sometimes I wonder whether I was 10 or 20 years too early," Obama reportedly mused aloud. Rhodes' upcoming book, The World as It Is, recalls details from the Obama administration, including the former president grappling with the transition to a Trump White House. Obama wondered "whether he had misjudged his own influence on American history," reports the Times.

Obama also worried about speaking out too much about potential Russian interference in the upcoming election for fear that Trump would claim it as evidence that the system was rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton, the book describes. After Trump won the election, Obama told aides that they were all "about to find out just how resilient our institutions are, at home and around the world." Read more details from the book at The New York Times. Summer Meza

no, you were just on time, Papa Doc. If not for your shitty presidency, we wouldn't have Donald Trump.

More things about Obama and his twisted hypocrisy
Georges, the first meme has been embellished to say “ Muslims”. He actually referred to Arab-Americans and Pakistanis and said he would stand with them if the political winds got nasty. I am paraphrasing.
He was implying Islam but never came out and said it but judging how he twisted himself in knots to defend Muslims at every turn during his presidency, the quote certainly isn’t far off as to how he feels.

Yes, we know that but liberals here and elsewhere will always deny it. Therefore naming Nobama a community organiser is totally appropriated.

The next time that I visit France, I want to visit the part of the country where the people think like Georges.

Unfortunately there are too few people like me, the majority of people are stateless, mostly left wing-center wing but definitely not right wing, unpatriotic, out of touch with the reality and are completely brainwashed by the medias. These people voted for that moron of Hollande and these are the very same people that voted for that tool of Macron.

Oh Come on, there's a lot of fascists like you, partuculary in the south. Cities such as Orange, Beaucaire, Cogolin, Frejus, Le Pintet, Villers-Cotterets and Beziers all have Front National mayors.
BC, you would love Robert Menard, the mayor of Bezier. He's very much like Trump (althought he is not a former businessman but the former head of Reporters Without Borders ).

So anyone who likes his country and fight for the respect of its values is a fascist??? :sarcasm::drama::bs:Typical left wing argument. Just see the shithole towns that are and were lead by several socialist mayors such as Pierrefitte Stains, St Denis, Les Mureaux, Poissy, Livry Gargan, Grigny, Sevran Beaudotte, Paris, Sarcelles and several others where you have several quarters of welfare cases and criminality. I am definitely not a facist but I believe that French citizens should be put in priority whether it comes social housing, healthcare and before migrants who have never busted and never worked their asses off but who only come in France just to take advantage of the generosity french nanny state (you will deny it but it is the truth). I voted in my town twice in 12 years for a candidate from "les republicains". You have voted for Hollande and Macron, so I don't have to receive moral lessons coming from you. Hollande was hardly a patriot but a total douche nozzle and Macron is a tool and muppet from various important finance and banking groups and from Brussels as well, so hardly a patriot too.

*looks at original story*
*looks at the numbers*
From June 24 - 30, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,446 registered voters nationwide with a margin of error of +/- 2.6 percentage points.
A tiny portion of the population that have already registered - their minds are already made up.

I find politics to often be like that poll - you ask a few friends what they think, you collate the info and you can 'generally' tell what people are thinking. A few. The few that you asked and liked their answer.
Personally, there is a wish in my heart of hearts that humans F everything up so badly that the world starts a nice collapse, so that quibbling over politics can become local and influential, again.
Like those third world countries where if you do not care for the candidate, you can actually go talk to them. Or take the local militia and frag his ass before elections are final.

If we want to discuss numbers, here is something infinitely more important:
Number of Mexican candidates died during/before elections: 136
ref: http://www.etellekt.com/presencia-medios.html

No matter what my countrymen or friends think, we do not care enough to go frag any of the guys in charge. Our opinions do not count.
That guy in Annapolis made his opinion heard. His opinion is on the news. People that get up and do something > Armchair critics/FB
Is any of this supposed to be ethical or fair? No. Just my take on reality.

But to give my superficial 2 cents to the topic: Eh, we've had better and worse. Context matters, with a prez. Always inheriting the previous mess.. and that goes all the way back to pre-Washington era ~ no matter how good or bad they are, you have to include the house, the senate, congr.. *cough* so yeah, the lot of them. And the economy. Wars. Social issues. Technological innovations. Memes. Comedians tearing away at you on late night TV. Whether your emails are private, or you smoke, or grab chicks by the pussy.
The worst president is the one you did not want. You can gather all the data and opinions you want to prove your opinion is valid, but at the end of the day that is YOUR self-fulfilling prophecy. And one should know how those turn out.
