Tampa looked pretty good. Hopefully they can pull a Philly and have a great season this year.

Rangers lost to the Sens 3-2, today, too. Dissapointing.

And has anyone seen Buffalo's third jerseys yet? Nice throwback to the good ol' days.

Last night Stamkos was on a line with Radim Vrbata and Ryan Malone and it seemed to go well for them . Stamkos almost scored ( he hit the cross bar ) . I'm pretty sure this is going to be his line for the season . Prospal played in last night's game but he was the only one from the big first line in the game ( Lecavalier and ST.louis haven't played yet ). So far , Jussi jokinen seems to have a great pre-season .
 
Bunch of pre-season games tonight. Montreal & Buffalo should be good, as well as Chicago & Columbus.

Plus my Canucks are in action against the Oilers. Can't wait!

i really hope we see more of Zenon Konopka and David Koci in the regular season. what can i say, they make the crowd get into it :nanner:
 
Canucks defeated the Oilers 2-1. Good news, though I'll wait a couple games to give a verdict. Any team can win one game, especially when it's against the Oilers...
 
Steve Stamkos scored his first goal as a pro last night and the Lightning won against the rangers despite being outshot 40-18 . Mike Smith was great in that game . I'm sure he's going to be tampa's #1 goalie this year .

Bad news for Detroit, looks like Lidstrom got injured in the game against Montreal tonight.

Of course, for people who **** Detroit (Like me), this is great news.

Well, look at it this way...

It's hockey. Someone is bound to get injured. It's inevitable.

And, if it does have to happen... Well, it should happen to a guy on your least favourite team.

In other news, Tampa beat the Rangers again last night. If they can keep this up, wow. They'll be contenders.

Next game is Berlin. Hope it's a good game.

Tampa didn't just beat NYR, they withstood 2 barrages in a row. Mike Smith stopped 30 of 40 shots in the first game and Karri Ramo stopped 45 of 47 last night:bowdown:
 
Tampa defeats the Berlin Eisbaren 4-1. on to HC Slovan and then the regular season (which is shaping up to be a damn good one)
