Well, your team just snuck by the worst in the league, so I'd say wait a bit. Remember, when Smitty does good you get a boner, too.

that's the scorings' fault, not Niitty's.

in his 6 appearances with us this season his stats are:

1.95 GAA and a .940 SV%

I have to eat my words from earlier. Canucks won with style. Raycroft is doing one hell of a job in goal right now.

Can't blame all of it on the scorers. Nitty did let the one in that tied the game and sent it to overtime.

we gave the Maple Leafs 10 Power Play opportunities and he let one by. he was 9 for 10.

And Toronto gave you six power plays and the Lightning went 0/6. :dunno:

Like I said, can't blame it all on the offence, defence, or goalie.

i've said we've had trouble scoring :dunno:

I know, but that is still not a reason to only blame the offence. The defence let 40 shots from the worst team in the league get to your goalie, for instance. Nitty may have played a good game, but it was against a team that is considerably worse than Tampa; though I do give him credit for stopping Kessel.

Look at his stats. He has a save percentage of .940 - highest in the league as of right now - and faces an average of 28.8 shots per game. But he has only played six games, and the majority of them were against teams that are poor offensively. Looking at his record, his save percentage is significantly lower against teams that are strong on offence; namely, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Tampa's schedule for November doesn't include any games against teams I would call offensively gifted - save for games against Pittsburgh, New York, and Los Angeles - so I would say that his stats in those games is how it should be decided if he is a good goalie, or just an average one.

Of course, this is assuming Tampa goes with Nitty over Smitty, which, given their choices so far in the season, isn't all that likely.

:dunno:

how many penalties do we have to take in each game before the coaches realizes they cost us dearly? somebody needs to show us how to score on PP opportunities too.

Wow. Toronto won.

I can't help but feel bad for everyone who picked Carolina to go far.

Wow. Toronto won again.

The Wings are looking tired and wore out so far this season. Given all the guys they lost in the off season, the toll 2 straight finals appearances have taken on their aging bodies, injuries and the inconsistent play of the goaltender, I'm not surprised. They're giving up a lot of early leads too. Tisk tisk.

On the other hand, it's good to see teams like L.A, Phoenix, and the Islanders playing well.

You know what? I don't care what anyone thinks; I like the Thrashers. For whatever reason they haven't clicked, but this year maybe if they can stay healthy they could have a shot at the playoffs.

they've made some good offseason moves and Ilya Kovalchuk shouldn't be out much longer. they'll be better before too long.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
went to the Hurricanes - Sharks game last Sunday. Canes are old and slow. Only good thing was I saw Marleau's goal "water bottle" Ward. had a perfect angle for the shot and to see the water bottle go flying

Sabres lost again. :(

Got destroyed by Flyers and Bruins, thats 5 straight against Philly none of which were close. Enroth wasnt bad for his first career start. The only thing that pissed me of was them losing all three of their fights(Hecht, Gaustad and Montador):lame:

Adam Mair got waived. So if Anyone needs a Steady 4th line Center for 750k
hes available:dunno:

My Blue Jackets are on a pretty good roll even though their defense has been decimated with injuries.

They have 7 points in 4 games this month and had a nice win last week against Oven Chicken and the Caps in the District.
