They need to wear the blue BOLTS jersey that's sick, ALMOST as good as the Pens powder blue ones. I'll be sitting in section C19 cheering the defending champs.
that is a good looking 3rd sweater. i believe that's just for home use though

At least everyone expected the Lightning to be bad. The Canucks have just been terrible. In fact, I envy your team.
But, Columbus won tonight. :nanner:
most hockey analysts i listened to expected TB to be the most improved team of the year. they are expected to make the playoffs.

I just got home from the game and WOW TB looked BADDDDDDDDD!
I really really don;t think the playoffs are in this year, but we were out in january and won the cup so who knows.
Downe got owned all night by Orpik. Nitty needs to be agressive in the net.
yeah, we had Artyukhin to deal out retribution for hits like Orpiks', but the brilliant owners got Drew Miller for him. Arty has already done more for than Anaheim than Miller has for us.

Most of the analysts up here say the Lightning are no better than 13th in the East. But they also predicted the Canucks would be 2nd in the West, and Philly would win the cup.

Just finished watching Phoenix whip Boston 4-1. It's depressing that there are so many open seats during Phoenix games, but if they keep playing like they are there should be a good improvement. Phoenix is the only team in the league this year where I will say that if they can average 14-15,000 a game, they are doing pretty well.

That's true, but I'd say this victory was so lopsided because:
A) The Bruins thought I'd be an easy victory (3-0 against Dallas, after all)
B) The Coyotes are playing like they are possessed. They no doubt beat any expectation Boston had. I don't know why they are so good right now, but I love it.

I like those lines , James Wright has a lot of potential and Vinny really needs to score his first goal so having him on a line with Marty and a youngster like Wright will surely help. I just hope Stamkos will be ok not playing with ST.Louis , on the upside , he seemed to click with Steve Downie last year when they played together. I'm not sure it's a good move to have Alex Tanguay on the third line though , he's going to be pretty useless on a line that has very little offensive power. I think it's ok that Nitty is the starter for now but Mike Smith has to play enough to keep his confidence level up. The first big test is coming right away with the San Jose Sharks on thursday.

that was an impressive game. James Wright had his first career goal, Smitty stopped 32 of 34 (take that critics) and Tanguay had the opportunity of an empty net goal at the end but passes it to Stamkos who was more open to ensure it went in. he's a team player for sure.
