saw the giants-panthers game last night. cam newton looks decent. he looks better than tim tebow this time last year. but it is preseason.

Agreed, I would never pick Tebow especially with a high pick, you might as well not even play, bad strategy there!
If you are in 12 man league, there is no need to draft tebow. there is no way, tebow can beat out orton.
thats why they hired John Fox, a defensive guru to help fix their defense. the broncos proved last year with Orton, they can be a top tier offensive team. now with John Fox, the defense should improve and i expect the broncos to be in playoff contention until the very end.
what does everyone think of the new rules? (such as kickoff starting at the 35 yard line)
Also they get Elvis Dumervil back this year. Seems like after they lost him last year, the rest of the defense followed.
I agree. Plus the high altitude in Colorado does not help. It will cause more points to be score.
Ummm...while that's very true, there is that whole thing about winning and doing well making people usually have good stats though. There is a tremendously strong correlation with good stats and winning. If a person has bad stats there is usually a reason for it, and that's because don't play well.
I don't like it. They say it's for safety? Bullshit. What's the over under for kickoff returns on the season now? 1?
At some point they need to realize that one can't take all the risk out of sports without it starting to become a mockery of what it is.
It's a violent sport where people often get hurt and at some level that needs to be realized by everybody.

I like a quarterback but I usually draft them in the fourth or fifth round because in my league (12 team league), we play with one quarterback. So I tend to draft running backs and wide receivers in the early rounds. my dilemma is chris johnson is ranked in currently ranked number 4 and if i was drafting 4, should i pick him? its a bid decision because if he comes back say next week, i lose out on a potential 1300 yard runner or worst a 2000+ one. I hope i don't have to make that decision. we'll see what position i pick later. its random in my league.
Johnson looks like trouble to me. He's not very well spoken and is sitting out because he feels like it? Gets that contract extension and the motivation will be nil.
Take AP; he is up for a contract extension next year therefore he will fuck some shit up this year. Plus the Queens' wideouts and their quarterback situation is all murky. They will run like crazy this year.
