How do you hate the Broncos and the Pats, love the Packers, roll with the Tide, and live in KC??? You seem like a bit of a front runner fan at face value.

I've always rooted for these teams, and I'm from California. I didnt expect the Cardinals to win the series last year and the packers last SB before last year was '96, I'm not a front runner. It's coincidence bud.

Who the fuck wants to root for the Royals?

I don't understand why people hate on him so much.. So what if he isn't a good quarterback, doesn't mean you should hate him. He's a nice guy, doesn't talk trash, he doesn't play to hurt people, and he's extremely nice to his fans. I'm not a "fan", but I'm not a "hater" either. I'll critize him when he messes up and I'll praise him when he does well. No reason to hate.

It's because the media has made him out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread despite the fact he hasn't done shit in his short time in the NFL. I'm just tired of him.

Then shouldn't you hate the media instead of Tebow since they are the ones pumping him up?

I will never understand these people who are from an area yet root for teams no where near where they live.

STD is a 49ers, Lakers, Wings and in baseball I think Toronto fan. :wtf:

I've always been loyal to my teams forever and that will never change. I grew up watching the Twins, Queens, Stars and Wolves and love all of them (I've been border on the Queens since Moss left town but I am a huge fan of Jared Allen and AP) and I have just about any Minny jersey you can think of. It's just natural for me to love them all even though the only world champs we have are the Twinks.

Seems to me some people just pick teams that have legacies or are winners *cough STD cough*. :D

Edit: Also, even Roethlisberger himself said earlier this week he thinks Tebow is a victim of the media and all the baggage they put on him.

This is america anyone can root for who they want as long as they are loyal, if you are a bandwagoner than you suck.

Honestly,I don't understand why it's an issue to like whoever you want,no matter where you live.

Just because you grew up in a place that you didn't even pick to live in the first place means that you HAVE to like the local team? Sorry, but that's always been fucking stupid to me.

I grew up in Chicago and I'm a Sox fan,but I'll NEVER root for the Cubs.

I've never liked the Bears because other than Payton,I didn't really like anyone else on that team back in the 80's,and hate them even more now.Besides that, the management of the team has been pretty fucking stupid of the past years,so they make it hard to really like them.

Other than my White Sox,there aren't any teams in any sports that I really like anymore. It's more about individual players that I want to see win over others.I don't play Fantasy Football, but I think that there's a lot of people that follow this train of thought more these days because of it.

That's why I don't root for the Chiefs or Royals, seriously they never even try. Ownership are cheapskates, why should I root for a team that isn't even trying? Derrick thomas was the only local player i liked, i just never cared for the kc teams

Yeah,Derrick Thomas was the man.The early Chiefs teams were pretty good though.I used to like Christian Okoye back in the day.He was a fucking beast!

Okay, sure. But it's a bitch move to pick a team just because they are winners or they have pretty jerseys.

Maybe it's a regional thing, because I know many people of my state take great pride in anything from here or that represents our culture. I believe that to be true. And I will still watch my team regardless (look at the abomination that is the Wolves the last couple years) and I still will watch and attend the games. When my Stars moved I was already a huge Joe Sakic and Forsberg fan and I just loved their Avalanche teams and did root for those teams. Now getting the Wild back my family were season ticket holders for the first several years and I have a concection to the city like none other since I was born a few miles from the where the Wild play. It's the coolest thing and even cooler that they went to the Western confernce finals in just their third year. That was the best fucking year ever and I went to so many games.

Ultimately I think this is why things like NCAA ball is so huge - people have a natural relationship to their alma maters. For me though I just grew up with the teams I listed and I love everything they have done for the image of our state as truly a world class area. :2cents

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
I root for the Colts, Cubs, Pacers, Blackhawks, and Boilermakers.

It doesn't get any more regional than that. Christ, I wish I was a bandwagon fan. I would probably have seen more than 2 fucking championship seasons from my favorite teams by now.

I just can't go my hometown. At all. Good or bad. Right or wrong. I also think it's a little suspect for someone to root for a team that's not from their city. I'm sorry. That shit is just suspect. Unless you have two teams in the same city or state (shout out those wannabe, red-headed retard step-children called the Chicago White Sox), I can't see not being down with the hometown squad.

Die hard Bulls, Bears and White Sox fan here. I'm also a Blackhawks fan but I don't want to say that I'm a die hard fan because I've only been following them since they won the Cup

Indeed. I'm a ride or die fan til I die.

What if your hometown doesn't have teams? What if you hate the fans of your hometown? Just root for the closest team? That is silly.

Wow, just when I was just about done with Tebow, he does this?

Just glad my Broncos get another shot at the Pats.

im just glad they knocked the yeller dogs out lmmfao...pitt is the only team in the nfl i cant stand..something i have learned about them..when they play if the first flag that hits the ground is against the other team you can turn the tv off..its going to be one flag after another..and they let that bushy headed cocksucker play as dirty as he wants..even tho it most likely will turn over next week..you guys move over..im jumping on the tebow wagon what ever team beats theyellerdogs is my Main team thats all i got right now.....tbc

Funny,I have that same jersey in the top left.I found it cheap once and couldn't pass it up.

I hate the Wild's jerseys, but as a rider you gotta ride, regardless. Sort of like having a retarded child. A lot of people disagree with me and think they are alright and I've come around more lately.

TBF both of their alternate jerseys are pretty fucking sweet. The authentics are $300.00 at the Wild store at the mall though. Fuck, the old CCM Center Ice's were only like $150-175 back in the day and you could fetch them on clearance for $40-75 some times. That's just highway robbery for the new jerseys. I still need to get me a Kevin Love jersey. They are pretty reasonable on the 'Bay.
