Ricky Rubio the man!

I love watching this team. Think I will be going to Wolves games over Wild more this year. Funnest Wolves team to watch since traitor Garnett signed his massive contract back late 90s. Even more so, methinks.

Now let's see what they can do against the Minneapolis Lakers on Sunday.

No one has ever accused Carmelo Anthony of being one of the great defensive players ever, and no one ever will. He wanted all along to form a super team Amar'e, thats why he held the Nuggets hostage during the entire course of last season. That is something i blame the Miami Heat for, they started that trend, now everyone wants to form a ***** team in the NBA.

I think Boston started it. For our generation at least.

The Hornets are dreadfully bad this season. The trade to the Lakers was blocked by Adolf Stern, it was a trade that would have kept that team at least competitive. They got junk and an oft injured first round pick guard in return from the Clippers, now theyre standing to fight for the best odds at the number 1 pick this year, on top of all this, the NBA is attempting to find a suitable buyer for that team, and this play is not making things easy for those prospects.
I dont think this is what the NBA envisioned for the Hornets or the New Orleans community, its not only hard on the fans of New Orleans, its hard on the NBA

This team is better off in the long run though, especially for potential buyers. What better way to rebuild than to have 2 top 10 picks in the best draft since '03? Kaman comes off the books soon and they have a potential all star SG in Gordon. High potential, high picks and low payroll is more attractive to potential owners than a 1 and done playoff team. Also, Odom is proving what a worthless sac of **** he is when he's not emotionally invested.

My starting Olympic Team:

PG Chris Paul
SG Dwyane Wade (if not healthy then Kobe Bryant)
SF Lebron James
PF Kevin Love
C Dwight Howard

Interexting topic. Mine would look like this, I have guys who compliment each other's talenbts playing together....

PG Chris Paul
SG Kevin Durant
SF LeBron James
PF LaMarcus Aldridge (underrated as fuck)
C Dwight Howard

Paul is perfect at the point, distributor and fantastic first line of defense. Durant is the best pure shooter to offset LeBron's lesser range, and Aldridge is the most complete offensive PF to compliment Dwight's limited offensive repertoire. It's not all about numbers here.

He is averaging 8rpg whereas Love is averaging almost twice at 14rpg plus they are nearly equal in ppg.

Even Chris Brousard said his numbers haven't been seen since Moses Malone. Your statement is incorrect.

BSS. Yumi said Aldridge is the most complete offensive PF and you're defending Love with his RB's per game?? Your homerism knows no bounds. Love would be a reserve, no doubt...but there is better American PF's in the league. More than 1.

But we all know Love's gaudy stats on a **** team will get the nod. Aldridge has been underrated his entire career. Why would the Olympics be any different?

Love will start. And I know he said offensive. Love is still a better threat because, yes, he does in fact play on a lesser team yet still produces 30+ games consistently.

Mark my words now, Love will start for the team. And regarding homerism, that's ridiculous, as even people knowledgeable on the game on thihs board love Love, and Barkley himself has stated he is the best PF in the game. Homerism my nuts, ***.

You are right, Love is the best PF. But the goal isn't to just stick the best player at each position, it's to field a balanced team. Kevin Love's offensive repertoire does not rival Aldridge's, only Chris Bosh could compare. It's more than just layups and 3pointers. And Kevin Love is a great rebounder, but so is Dwight Howard. Wouldn't you agree it'd be more effective to use Love's rebounding prowess in tandem with another post player who does not rebound as nearly as well? It'd be dumb to play your two best rebounders, then proceed to get ****** on the glass when the reserves are on the floor. Also, Aldridge would be a plus on defense, cuz Love would get lit up by the perimeter-minded post players in Europe. Love should be used as the backup center when Coach K wants to go to a more offensive lineup. Btw Chris Bosh is the best PF, his numbers are just drained cuz of the team he's on. See his numbers in Toronto. Kevin Love would average 14 points a game on the Heat. Plus Bosh is a versatile defender.

And Howard is now trying to bitch the Magic to get moved. Fucking **** that ****.

so what should he do? stay his entire career in orlando not getting a ring while being the best center in the league right now.
i dont think that he trained his whole life just to excite the magic fans but never be a champion.
same story with james. if a team cant build some players around so you can be compeditiv you can leave when your contract is over.
i **** this bitching around because your team sucks while your contract is still running like carmelo did but if its over you should be allowed to go wherever you want without being targeted be everybody

I'm a Bulls fan so I have to have Rose in the starting lineup. You could interchange Bryant and Durant at the 2 but I think I like Durant coming off the bench to provide some firepower along with Paul and Wade. But really it doesn't matter who starts because this team is going to be loaded with talent

Remember, the most effective line-up for Team USA in Beijing was;

PG Chris Paul
SG Dwyane Wade
SF Kobe Bryant
PF Chris Bosh
C Lebron James

It was a crazy line-up, but it was extremely effective. I wonder if we'll see this line-up again.

Big game for my Bulls today against the Heat. Hopefully this become like the Bulls-Knicks or Heat-Knicks rivalries of the 90s.

Oh, no doubt. These two teams will meet each other in the playoffs, and in years to come.

If everybody didn't sign with Miami, you'd be singing a different tune. Basically what you're saying is, if you're not winning championships immediately, leave and form super teams.

I hope OKC and Chicago dominate the next 15 years.

Yes

But it's totally cool for owners to cut and trade superstar athletes whenever they want. We're about to see one of the greatest athletes of all-time (Payton Manning) get traded. Where's the loyalty there? But... it's just business... right?

Lebron James wasn't the first ever free agent. Sure, he could have handled the situation a little bit better, but he had every right leave. Why was he suppose to stay anyways?

Because the Cavs were a 60 win team every year. But he wants to win? He wants the easy track to a championship. Hopefully he never gets it.

Obviously it's not easy, and he's going to have to work just as hard as any champion before him. I hope he does get it.

I'm starting to wish L.A would amnesty MWP. 2 points in 33 minutes? You're the 6th Man. Step it up. At least the bigs played good, combining for 49 points to go with Kobes 35. Nobody else had a decent game.

I hope Lebron gets injured and Bosh leads the Heat to a championship.

That'd be pretty cool.
