I have a few pieces of the Vision series from Corning and I love them. Don't have any of the skillets but was thinking about them. They have a waffle bottom and I think they had a Teflon bottom version too. Both are a little suspect for me so I'm glad to get the feedback.

One of my Cosco Kirkland saucepans bottoms have just come off.

Just thought I would share that Bob.

any pics of this Miss H? I'm happy you were happy!

if you make something that needs time like braised short ribs or chili I would use a heavy bottomed pot. same with frying or searing when you need high, even heat use cast iron skillet.

Your recipe has transformed my Spag Bol,

That was a nice read and will never suck up my issues to anyone. I'm a Polack and will defend anything it think till I die...wrigt or wrong.

You did a curstini about a year back that I served just for my veg friend at a card game. Fresh mozz, tomato, and basil. a drizzle of oil. Everyone whoffed them down. A handfull of pork or chicken as a choice for meat people makes this more versitle. I'll use leftovers since those players (you know who you are) don't serve as well as me. And you know what, I can make this while playing a hand.

So Mariahx, when you coming back to Jersey?

wait, you'll defend something til you die even if it's wrong??????????

glad you liked the bruschetta one of my favorites

I dont have any immediate plans to come to Jersey but you never know. Ill be in NYC & CT in October. that's as close as I usually get to the Garden State

I don"t know quite what to make of this, but I hope you're not trying to pass off that old lap dance video, that you've had on YouTube for years, as being new, because that would be ridiculous.

Eric, that is new here. She went from 5 to 18 minutes. Has she not posted enough food videos here? Hey, I want to see outdoor-flame on stuff but she doesn't do it. If she come through Jersey she can film plenty of it here.

Hey, Hariaxx, let me win or come in second for a trip from Jersey to...Greenpoint or other places in the area. Ha, ha.

How about you dont make anything of it. How about you go on your way and find some other conspiracy to drum up. The video is the video. Like it or not.

and I dont do flame on stuff as a choice because every time you hear the fire flare up that's fat dripping into the fire...which is basically flavor dripping away. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me because personally I prefer flavor :) from the meat rather than from spices and sauces.

I have a grill and do cook on it sometimes. I have a big charcoal monster and I also have a small gas grill which I like to cook chicken on.

oh hell no you didnt!!!!!!!! :) only because it requires about as little skill and creativity as possible and by the way, if you use a gas grill or place your "meat" over direct heat that is NOT bar b q bar b q is when you cook over indirect heat verrrrrrrry sloooooooooowly. most people dont know that but thats what real bbq is.

and most men certainly do NOT bbq :)

larss

I'm watching some specialist videos
I do a mean jerk chicken on my Webber. Spatchcocked and cooked with the lid down - indirect heat, as you suggest.

I don't bbq or gas grill. I'll prep food the etc, but some other fucker can cook it as I'll be relaxing having a beer when the bbq/grill is fired up.

Im actually putting some pompano we caught yesterday on the gas grill tonight...wrapped in a banana leaf with some slices of lime, thinly slices new potatoes, and butter sitting on top of a brick to keep the direct heat from the banana leaf. I just wrapped them up and my gf will be here in a few minutes :) we're filming tonight its the same blond from the video last week and another guy who was a marine in Afghanistan and Iraq
