Is Obama really (born) American or Not?

You're forgettting; any man who doesn't trust in Bush is gay.

Let me try this again. Obama is either a citizen of Britain or a citizen of the USA. Here's what I found out: Obama's mother may have been an American citizen, but his father was definitely Kenyan. In 1961, Kenya was a colony under the British Crown. Therefore, that made his father a citizen of Britain. If Obama was born anywhere else in the world other than America, or an American territory, then he too would be a citizen of Britain. There are many pictures of an Obama birth certificate issued by the state of Hawaii. Chinese Nationalist Sun Yat-sen had the same document issued, so I wouldn't believe what you see. There are many recent reports that the Governor of Hawaii cannot find Obama's official birth certificate.

Also, state workers have signed affidavits stating they looked to no avail for Obama's birth certificate.

Also, the Supreme Court has scheduled a conference about Obama's eligibility.

Take a look at these pictures. Much more convincing than that so-called birth certificate from Hawaii.

These documents even have the footprints on them.

In closing I want ya'll to think of this; if Obama has nothing to hide, then why won't he release his original birth certificate AND academic records. Heck, GW Bush released his and we found out he wasn't the most stellar of students. Even in his book, Bush admits his name and his father influenced his acceptance into Yale. Make fun of Bush all you want, but you cannot question his integrity!

So. His mother was a U.S. citizen.

From today’s Washington Post:

"But the nominee may emerge much diminished by involvement in a process cluttered with careless, delusional, egomaniacal, spotlight-chasing candidates to whom the sensible American majority would never entrust a lemonade stand, much less nuclear weapons."

-Conservative George Will referring to his party’s Presidential candidates cozying up to birthers.

1. Being of alien descent and being a United States citizen are two different things. One doesn't proclude you from being the other.

2. Hawaii became a state in 1959, and Obama was born there in 1961. So it would seem obvious that he was born in the United States.

3. He actually allowed his Certificate of Live Birth to be disseminated throughout the internet.

4. Do people know that you can't actually become the US President if you aren't a US citizen? I'm sure that if he wasn't, then our gov't would've used every secretive and subversive method at its disposal to find out.

If Obama wasn't a citizen Hillary and the Clinton army would have made sure everyone knew.

You're really reaching here. There was an annoucement in the local Hawaii newspaper when he was born if you want to reach back that far.

But honestly, the FBI, Secret Service and CIA would have been doing a ton of research on him as soon as he became a serious candidate for President.

All those think tanks, lobbyist groups and muckrakers would have been on him too. No one has come up with anything odd about his birth or citizenship.

TRUTH!:dito:

His mother was/is an American citizen, therefore HE is a citizen. If it's an argument about that "natural born citizen" bit in the Constitution-well, Jefferson, Madison and the rest didn't bother to elaborate.

the whole subject is loose-loose and he knows that.

If we WASNT born a citizen and they don't show the certificate he knows he wont get tried for it - He wins
If he WAS born a citizen then he deliberately doesn't show the certificate and lets the media to label people who ask for it as xenophobic - He wins

He himself isn't even really the problem (almost like society just took him for a ride), he is the product of decades of demoralization in America

Make fun of Bush all you want, but you cannot question his integrity!

The hell I can't! I voted for Bush (the first time) and one of the main reason I didn't vote for him the second time was his integrity... or lack thereof. So don't try to sell me that bill of goods.

I do not believe in nation building. And when Bush said that he didn't either, that was enough for me to vote for him. Like a dumbass, I believed him! But the next thing I knew, he and his neocon handlers were making up lies to get us into a war with a country that was of no threat whatsoever to the United States or its people. And what do we have now? Thousands of dead and mangled American soldiers and roughly a trillion dollars down a rathole! The last time I read the story, there was one bridge in Iraq that we'd rebuilt at least five times! Meanwhile, Iraq had $80 billion of oil reserves banked... while we were rebuilding that bridge with borrowed Chinese money! :flame:

I'm sorry, but I'll vote for Princess Di@na (a British corpse) for President, with an obviously forged birth certificate, before I'd see my country return to the hands of a lying nation builder, that weakened this country in more ways than I can count. I'm just sorry that John McCain didn't beat Bush in the primaries in '99. But Karl Rove opened his bag of dirty tricks, fixed him in the south and ruined the man. For the most part, McCain was a good man in those days, IMO. I doubt he would have let a skanky attention whore like Sarah P@lin even touch his arm back then. Now he's just old, confused and pitiful. In a few years, they'll be rolling his sad ass around the rest home in a wheelchair, while he shouts, "I'm a maverick!!!"

I realize that I live in a country where 40%+ of the citizens believed that one or more of the 9/11 hijackers were Iraqi. I understand that we're more likely to watch American Idol and the daily, drug addled rants of Charlie Sheen than Bloomberg News. But even in a nation of fools, this continuing obsession with Obama's birth certificate shows just how low we've fallen.

The last I read he was born in Hawaii. That makes him an "American" in any case law book on United Sates citizenship.
