And you really think ... ?
McCain or Palin, it doesn't matter who, will take their cues from the advisors tied into special interest. Palin in particular is one who will need a lot of direction about whether to sign above or below the line.
You really think Obama and Biden don't? I'll give Biden that he's honest and forward on things (how McCain used to be more like back in 2000 before the last 6 years), but both of them serve similar, just different, "special interest" as well. Make no mistake, if that's why you're voting, then you should be joining me by abstaining for the Presidential ballot.
Not even the Libertarians put up a guy I'll vote for, he's clearly a Republican with his own ties too.
Obama is the very embodiment of this "little bit of safety" . .
In my estimation.

to purchase a little Temporary Safety,
deserve neither Liberty nor Safety"

The masses will be
messes . . I suppose
Best of health to all in the SCOTUS, that's all I can say.
And you really think the Republican leadership has been remotely offering that recently?
The best "Fiscal Conservative" we've only more recent had in the Executive was ... Bill Clinton from 1995-1998!
Hell, he just recently impressed me with his
Business Week interview, especially given the make-up of Congress at the time.
It wasn't just about downing Obama so his wife could run in 2012, he was actually pointing out across both lines, and himself too.
It really impressed me, "that's a leader, not a politician."
He also put to rest the non-sense that it's "de-regulation" -- no, this is private stupidity combined with too many public safety nets.
It's like we went under-board in '29-32, so now we're going overboard in '07-10.
Hell, that reminds me of Iraq, under-board in '91-96, then overboard in '98-03.
