DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz says Scott Walker is "grabbing women by the hair and pulling us

back."

Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz ripped into Republican Gov. Scott Walker's record Wednesday during a round-table discussion on women's issues at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.

The Florida congresswoman said: "Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand. I know that is stark. I know that is direct. But that is reality."

Wasserman Schultz added: "What Republican tea party extremists like Scott Walker are doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back. It is not going to happen on our watch."

Republican Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch said she was "shocked" that Wasserman Schultz used domestic violence language to discuss political disagreements.

"I think the remarks were absolutely hideous and the motive behind them was despicable," Kleefisch said.

Kleefisch called on Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke to "denounce these outrageous statements" made by the DNC leader.

I don’t know why I’m surprised anymore, but occasionally something like this does actually shock me. This is the chair of the Democrat National Convention comparing a political opponent to a domestic abuser.

In a sane world, she would be forced out of her chairmanship over such comments, but we don’t live in a sane world. I don’t expect the DNC to take any actions because they routinely promote the same kind of garbage.

These comments are egregious and only solidify the point that she and her colleagues are desperate. Too bad too many ignorant, uneducated, and straight up stupid individuals will take this at face value.

Scott Walker's record on women's rights has been at least as horrendous as with any other human rights. First, he repealed the equal pay enforcement act. He has defunded planned parenthood, tried to restrict or deny access to birth control and force ultrasounds before abortions. He is more dangerous than any of the more vocal anti-women gop scum because he doesn't say what he really thinks in public like those other idiots. And there are women so fucking stupid and ignorant that they are still going to vote for him. It's no wonder there is no sympathy left for the long suffering people of Wisconsin when they keep voting this cancer back in.
