Coronavirus

This is a good read, with many helpful links, if you choose to opt in. I found it very interesting, because it seems like we have concrete means to maybe not extinguish, but definitely dramatically inhibit the spread of corona. It seems that the issue is (1) ignorance of the fact, or (2) distrust related to privacy concerns (which the author believes to be unfounded). What say you all? Do you use a contact-tracing app like this? If not, why? I'm in the "not" category, and it's because my concern of privacy breach, etc., outweighs my concern about catching or spreading the virus.

You link to WaPo, not the WSJ.

I don't use a tracing app. Privacy? If you have a phone, you're being tracked. One more app probably doesn't change the odds of a breach very much. Then again, as an app-adverse person, I minimize the number of them on my phone. Every time I use the map app, I know someone is (or will be) watching. Frankly, the odds of anyone's data being breached probably approach 100% with or without a specific app. It's a fact of modern life.

The tracing app is avoided more from a 'Why?' perspective. Primarily: I minimize trips to stores, take recommended precautions, and live a fairly low-risk life. Like any illness, I'd prefer neither to get it nor to spread it. Secondarily: sloth.

My bad, ty. (it's all liberal mainstream media to me! 😅)
You're correct, I believe. Privacy, like security, is mostly a superstition, as the gal once said.
You sound like you conduct yourself fairly safely, given the circumstances, and that's the most probable path to recovery, with or without contact-tracing, I believe. 👍

"Though the coronavirus attacks the lungs first, it can infect the heart, kidneys, liver, brain, and intestines as well. Some research has Premium Link Upgrade instead of a respiratory one, meaning it can travel through the ***** vessels. This is the reason for additional complications like heart damage or stroke."

"Anyone in 21st century America who thinks he/she has privacy is delusional'

THAT is why I am not on ANY social media sites. And, use a "dumb" phone / do not have a data plan. Why billions of people VOLUNTARILY create profiles on Facebook, Instagram, etc. and put their entire lives up for the world to see .. is beyond me.

No social distancing at a swingers event? Oh my.

A spokesman for [the] New Orleans Mayor ... told The Post that the swingers event was a “very stark example of what can happen when you don’t obey the social distance guidelines.”

So the big story now is who gets priority for the vaccine.

TBH, I don't think I'll be rushing out to get it. I'm definitely getting it sometime, and I'm not too concerned that there are going to be too many funky side-effects.
But I'm not keen about waiting in line or stressing about whether I'm going to be one of the first to get one, like some medical Black Friday.

But most of all, I kinda like wearing a mask when I go out in public now. Even once the vaccine is widely available, I'm still going to be wearing one. At least if I'm still waiting for a shot, I'll have an excuse to keep wearing one.

Masturbate with or without a sex toy, it's quicker and almost as good as most sex encounters with a partner.
I still use $3 jars of generic vaoprub, it's the best lube for wanking.
A bit lasts long, it gives a bit of a burn and cool feeling at the same time, and it has that nice healing menthol smelling vapor that's good for your sinuses and lungs.
I used to pay $1 for a small 2 inch high/wide jar, but because of the pandemic the price went up to $3 per jar.
