I don't remember much more about the man, other then the famous "Convoy" song., But I sure remember the song, had the 45rpm, and saw the movie when I was a kid, long before I ever stepped into one. R.I.P. Mr. McCall, you sure left a mark.

And 93 years old, way to make it to a ripe old age.

Fairly iconic song. Convoy was one of Sam Peckinpah's fun movies. I've seen it many times. RIP CW McCall

Wow. He was one of those guys, you never think about not being there, because when you least expect it, here comes that voice, or that face. He will be missed, he was an annoying guy, but funny as hell.

Gilbert was a regular on Howard Stern way back when when Howard was funny. Anyway, he did a great Bela Lugosi impersonation. Not Dracula Lugosi but Morphine addicted Bela.

Naomi Judd passed on. It's sad, just 1 day before their induction into the CMHF, and right before a farewell tour. I don't listen to country, but I know her and her daughter made a big splash in the genera, and were very successful at it. May she rests in piece.

David Birney has passed away. I sort of remember him, but really didn't watch the shows. I hope he rests in peace.

I have noticed this, there are a lot of celebrities passing on lately. It seems like they're going in 4's or 5's now, instead of 3's.

He's not a celebrity, in the conventional sense, but he was an important figure in history, in my opinion. I hope he's at piece, and reunited with his late wife.
By the way, she was murdered, by a federal agent, while holding an infant.

Alan White, long time drummer of Yes, one of my favorite bands, died at 72, after a brief battle with an unnamed illness. I've seen him with Yes a couple of times.

Oh yeah, he was funny in "Tremors", with Kevin Bacon. I never saw much of his other work. I hope he's at peace.
