@ John) I guess my eyes are getting worse. I thought it might be, but the bowl hair do kind of fucked me up. I never knew a reason WHY George seemed to be getting put to the side, but you would think Paul would hook a brother up. I will say this about Lennon. He was a decent piano player, better then his guitar playing actually. I also think Harrison's playing was underrated. As far as Ringo goes, meh, but here's a little tidbit you might not know. Carl Palmer, of E.L.P fame, at one time owned a one piece all aluminum drum kit. Ringo now owns it, or did not sure who he bought it from or if he still owns it. I will also say, a few years ago, my wife wanted to go see McCartney, she's a huge Beatles fan, so we paid a metric shit ton of cash, for 2 average seats, and I gotta say, he jammed, and he played for a good couple of hours, and he did a lot of good Beatles material. Worth every penny. Not in my top ten, but certainly in hers. Plus I won $300 bucks at the roulette table at our casino, so the seats were free!. And I'm relieved you forgive me, and understand.
@ Gmase) For me, I think it's the droning sound of his voice in his solo music. Nothing like his more "perky" voice, from Beatles songs. As far as Yoko goes, I never heard anything come out of her, that makes me believe she's even slightly talented. I do not however think she had anything to do with the break up, other then possibly encouraging her man, that he was talented, and capable, which is technically the right thing to do. I do believe Lennon was talented, and a great figure in music history, but not quit as good as he was credited to be.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I "HEARD" somewhere, that some of the lyrics to "Imagine", were lifted by John, from Yoko's song writing efforts.
