More to the point, these women aren't going to file charges themselves and pay out of pocket, if they're going to pursue this at all, it's through the prosecutor.
And in that case it's proof beyond a reasonable doubt for criminal cases. If you have a reasonable doubt that trump did it, then you must acquit. The pussy grabbing video doesn't do squat.
If he described a particular situation then maybe, but as it stands it sounds more like joking than a confession.
The burden is a little lower for civil cases if these women wanted to sue him directly, but if anyone thinks they'll do so now, they're delusional.
Either way, these women have no evidence, no witnesses and questionable motives. They were dumb enough to go on the record accusing him, and the damage to trump is quantifiable, so he has everything he needs to win a defamation suit. Often the one thing preventing the defamed from pursuing these types of cases is to avoid looking like a bad person. If trump loses, do you think he'll give a shit? He will go at them with everything he's got.
