I don't know about that Ace. Your boys played one hell of a game, they were sucking some serious wind at the end of that drive though. SPARTANS WILL!

Congrats MSU ...and a hell of a year for Iowa. Soooo damn close!

So the final four will be Clemson, Alabama, Michigan State and Oklahoma.
Get your party gear ready, Smoknn...the Tide will prevail!

Funny. Iowa is 9-4 with the spread against MSU. I think the line was MSU -3.5. So the Hawkeyes did it again...sort of.

I so want Sparty to match up against 'Bama. To have a BIG TEN team ruin Sabin's year two years in a row would just be too delicious. Why did he leave MSU? Because in his own words, he wanted to go where he could contend for a National Title. Hey Nick, I guess it was just you and not the school that couldn't do it.

Bodie long as we beat Okie dokie i dont care if SMU is NC.........every time we have played Okl its been on some offbeat bowl game or after we just had the wind knocked out of us. i been waiting to play these some beaches in a game that meant something for a long time. my TVs life may depend on it...................

Christina McCaffrey should be the Heisman Trophy winner this year.

If it was up to me I'd rank Bama on top and Sparty 2nd or 3rd, which would open the door to the possibility of that matchup being for the championship.
But since Clemson's undefeated and was #1 in the polls going into the last week it'll probably be 1 Clemson 2 Bama 3 Sparty 4 Okie - which would give you your matchup in the semi final.

I agree.

McCaffrey deserves the Heisman, but I''m absolutely certain they'll give it to Henry.

Look at McCaffrey's all-purpose yards and then look at the guy in second place. McCaffrey has over 1,000 more yards! There's no way you can justify McCaffrey not getting it.

I think it's gonna be Clemson and Alabama, then it's a toss up. Personally, I think Oklahoma will be third, but I'm hoping they end up fourth. I don't believe Clemson can beat either Bama or Okie, and they sure as shit can't beat both back to back.

I also want to note, this has been the worst year as far as officiating and it really pisses me off that North Carolina got fucked on that onside kick. No one was even close to being offside!

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
My first thought after seeing the replay of that onside kick was that ref had to be on the take. Then I realized that if Clemson lost, the ACC would probably be out of the playoffs and it would cost the conference millions. No official in a conference championship game is that inept.

If the refs had got that call right, and North Carolina found a way to win, the committee could not justify keeping them out.

They were getting their butt kicked and they managed to keep themselves in the game with a chance to go into overtime and win their conference. It would have been poetic.

What's weird to me though is how everyone was talking about Stanford having a chance to make the playoffs even though they had 2 losses.

Well, whatever. No major surprises, so the only real question is how the committee ranks the 4 teams we know are in.

Nikkala made me do it!
It's set. Clemson vs Oklahoma in the Orange. Alabama vs Michigan State in the Cotton. IS IT NEW YEARS EVE YET?

weeks ago the top runners in the Heisman race were Fournette, Boykin and Henry. Bama shut Fournette down...Boykin tossed 4 INT and Henry had a fill day with LSU..... all in one weekend where was McCaffrey then? i have no problem with McCaffrey...but Henry is pretty dang good. even if you dont like him...............

McCaffrey deserves the Heisman, but I''m absolutely certain they'll give it to Henry.

Yeah I expect so too unless he has a bad outing against Sparty and Bama gets KO'ed.
Not to diss Henry - he's been outstanding - I just think McCaffrey deserves it a bit more.

That it has. Worst. Season. Ever.
Here's the kick, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet

I see a good old fashioned midwestern slobberknocker for the Title. The Tide hasn't seen a front seven like Sparty has all year and as a game day coach Dantonio gets the edge over Satan any day. Okie just has way to much for Clemson to handle.

Red Wing you do know bama has one of the best defenses in the nation if not the best and the front runner for Heisman at running back right? nothing against sparty but...i dont think they have seen a defense or a punishing running back like Henry all year.

Newsflash::: mich st gave up 39 points to Nebraska ...Bama gave up 40 points the last four games.
