wonder if this will have any effect on the National Championship hopefull FSU?
I posted that yesterday.

This has been in the works for awhile. So far it hasn't fazed him. His lawyer says he's innocent and will be cleared of any wrongdoing (imagine that! :surprise:).
From what little ESPN reported, it would seem he couldn't be involved. One person, between 5-9 and 5-11, while Winston is 6-4, so I assume all the facts haven't been released, or the investigation is just being run by a bunch of incompetent boobs.

Braxton Miller is the best player in college football.... Early season injury cost him a chance to go to New York.

Maybe. He's very talented for sure. I'll tell you something a little more speculative though. He isn't there yet because he's just a sophomore but Dorial Green-Beckham is a freak at wideout and will be a dominant player, perhaps the best, in college football going forward. The dude is 6'6", 225 lbs., has a wingspread like a condor and runs a 4.43 40-yard dash. A couple of his 4 TD catches against Kentucky (yeah, I know....Kentucky) were eye-popping. If you haven't seen this kid, go to YouTube and check out some of his highlights.

Dawgs at Auburn, OSU at Texas, Miami at Duke, Stanford at USC are the big games for me to watch today....although Baylor at Tech has the potential to be an offensive explosion so that should make for fun viewing as well. Crazy....if Texas somehow wins today, they'll punch it out with Baylor for the Big 12 Championship. Fucking Mack Brown is like the teflon don....lots of us were hoping for a complete collapse so we could finally run him off but now he's riding high once again. Wow....amazing.

Wow....the UGA-Auburn tilt was one of the most incredible games I've ever seen. Looks like Auburn is for real to me. There's a bit of magic going for them for sure. Can't wait for them to take on 'Bama. Should be classic. The War Eagle has the Tide at Jordan Hare so I'd be just a little bit nervous if I was an Alabama fan.

Oh....and both Texas and Miami SUCK!!!! :suicide: :bawling: :brick:

By far, the worst officiated game of the year!. Stan White said it best, the whole point of instant replay is to get it right, and 2 of the easiest reviews of the year, and they blow both! Thanks to Dee Ford for that tremendous effort of the last play, since the fucking refs refused to flag Murray on that pass when he went over the line of scrimmage. God, I truly hate SEC officiating crews.

Wow, the Dawgs lost to Auburn on the biggest heartbreaker since the "Miracle in the Bluegrass." That was incredible. God I love college football.

Dude....you act like you lost the game. You WON. Forget the bad officiating. Celebrate the moment. It was a miracle finish....I'd be dancing in the streets if I were an Auburn fan!! You never know....you might legitimately lose your next game so....just sayin' :dunno:

Hey....you could be like me....seeing both Miami and Texas disappoint AGAIN!!! Mizzou is my last hope.

Well, I'm glad Texas lost, but I will be pulling for Mizzou against A&M.

Yeah, there were some bad officiating calls. What a wild and crazy finish! And that hit Dee Ford put on Aaron Murray to end the game! Wow!

Well, Stanford can kiss any NC hopes goodbye now. It's looking more and more like Ohio State, Florida State probably Baylor (Wow....fucking Baylor!!!) will be undefeated at season's end. Alabama still has to get by Auburn which, from what I have seen, won't be easy (wait a minute....am I showing no chance for Chattanooga to possibly pull an upset here???....you betcha!! ;)). Whoever wins the SEC East will be an underdog in the championship game but that won't be any cakewalk either. Interesting that what has been universally considered to be the best team in the nation all season has the toughest road to the NC. Anyway, someone who is undefeated is likely to be edged out this year....my bet is that it's Baylor. Shame....they might have the mightiest offense in the nation and are quite capable of beating anyone IMO.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Thought I had a tiny gnat in my ear when I woke up. High-pitched whine in my ears. Then I read Baylor had passed Ohio State in the coaches poll. Realized it was just the folks in Ohio reacting.

baylor will get their oil checked next week. we will know if they ready for grown man football or not. anytime your defense gives up 34 points you are in for a letdown.

Why no love for Texas? Just don't like 'em?? I could understand that....lots of people hate the 'Horns....even those out of the Big 12.

And thanks for rooting for Mizzou against A&M but I'd appreciate you pulling for them against Ole Miss first! :D

Texas should be dominating the college football world with the talent they rake in, but piss-poor coaching from Mack Brown has made that team a joke.

I'm hearing rumors that Mack is gonna be forced out, and Texas has a short-list for his replacement:

Nick Saban
Urban Meyer
Art Briles

It doesn't make sense for Urban Meyer to leave. He hasn't lost a game in 2 years and the Buckeye faithful seem to worship him.

Briles just signed a 10 year extension. Texas has enough money to pay it off, but the question is, would Briles want to go?

Saban seems the most likely. His wife has been spotted house hunting in Texas, but that could just be a ploy to get Bama to cough up a HUGE pay raise.

A friend of mine got on a Texas chat room and a bunch of fans on there were screaming they want Gus Malzahn. The Longhorns have already poached too many of our coaches, so they need to go somewhere else!

I totally agree with the talent-to-coaching ratio. He should be held accountable but he always seems to be immune to anything just because he won one national championship and almost won another. Other than those two hightlights, his tenure has been less than stellar.

But...."poached too many of our coaches".....who in the world are you talking about? And didn't we set the stage for you guys to get Gene Chizik?? Please elaborate.

Oh....and are you kidding?? Briles would jump at the chance for a job like Texas. Forget the other ones you mentioned. Outside of Sumlin (and he would go for the right money as well), I can't think of an existing HC I would want to bring in, especially Saban.

Irish fan here. If Bama and FSU play for the NC, and the Noles win, they'll be my second fave CFB team.
