That was the best day of my life. Seeing SEC teams lose in bowl games is almost as good as watching USC annihilate teams in the Rose Bowl.
I loved it but to say "it was the best day of my life" might be a lttle extreme.

I think you were going in the right direction with this thinking. In fact, I've just come back from Heritage Hall with the great news now that the SC football program is shutdown, we have all these athletes available to dominate other sports. If Michigan has the monopoly on Rhythmic Gymnastics..I think SC might be able to cobble together a decent Badminton team. We might try to corner the market on some Equestrian events know that Traveller has nothing to do. Anyone got any thoughts on how Taylor Mays might perform in the Iditarod?
Well the only way I know how to settle that Bama/Miss debate is to do a census and find out which state has more chestier hotties than the other one?:dunno:

I think if any USC players or coaches read ^^this post^^ they will just quit the season now, dismantle the football program, and run up one of these on the USC Campus....

I really wish that somebody would think of a way to pick an undeniable National Champ with a fair playoff system in a sport that is almost impossible to say who's the best & who deserves to play for the championship. Year after year somebody gets cheated out of having a great season & not being awarded for it cuz there fans don't travel well. meaning if they don't sellout the championship game & get the best teams that will make for a good national audience  and in allot of cases, the 2 teams playing are NOT the 2 best teams or the most deserving teams actually playing in the NC game, instead the most deserving get slighted because of $ & politics that disrupt a great game, game as in College Football as a whole. every year we have a genuine argument over who should have played for the NC & who the best really is. I mean is there a playoff system that's fair to the student athletes who have finals, but also addresses without a conceivable doubt which 2 teams should be playing for the NC. :dunno: :glugglug::2 cents::hatsoff:

You forgot to mention UF lost to a team that lost to Appalachian St.

Ahem.
A play-off system will be established immediately. There will be a 32 team tournament, with the champions of the 11 FBS conferences receiving automatic bids. They remaining 21 teams, and the seedings, will be chosen by the AP poll. That will mean a total of 31 post-season games with national championship implications, as opposed to the one such game we have now. These will be spread out among existing bowl games and will rotate each year. At present, there are 34 registered bowl games, so we only have to eliminate three. If a school does not make the field of 32, it sits at home. There will be no more bowl games matching teams with 6-6 records who finished eighth in their conference.
