im so sick of usc and the cake walk to the ...rose bowl.....if usc had to play 4 sec teams a year.....they would soon drop from the top ten EVERY YEAR ohio st didnt get the job done.....but ohhhhh how i wish they was next on the list at BAMA ROLLLLLLLLLLL TIDEEEEE ROLLLL.....12 national titles....i see nothing to stand in the way of 13........bama is loaded......this may be one of the best bama dssss yet!!!!

My thoughts on the other games:

Michigan is not where they want to be talent wise yet on defense, particularly in the backfield, but I thought yesterday was a huge step forward for the program. I thought Rich Rod and his assistants completely out coached chubby.

I don't think RR particularly out coached Weis. In fact, I think Weis coached a pretty good game...He had one problem he couldn't account for nor overcome, Tate Forcier. TF was hands down the difference in why we won when we had the opportunity to. The kid is not only much wise beyond his years (see 31 yd run for TD...will explain later) he's as quick as a bunch of scattering crickets and seems like he has eyeballs all over his head. If he had anywhere near the speed of Denard Robinson he would have likely had a few more TDs on scrambles.

On to his 31 yd. scramble and what I mean by wise beyond his years... He reads cover zero pre-snap, the play call is to roll out and pass the ball to the WR in single coverage....since the ND defender blew up the roll out, Forcier mindful of the pre-snap cover zero knew all he had to do was fake the defender outside and cut back to the inside where the middle of the field would be wide open for an untouched TD.

I couldn't be more satisfied with TF and to think Pryor might have committed to UM and we might have never witnessed the TF era.:shock: WHEW!!

I think if any USC players or coaches read ^^this post^^ they will just quit the season now, dismantle the football program, and run up one of these on the USC Campus....

Hell, I was thinking that if even the almighty Trojans of USC can't stack up to ANYONE in the SEC, my sorry-ass Big 12 Longhorns have no chance at all. They're done....toast. It's all over.

Some observations from the weekend:

-Pryor is over-rated
-LOL @ Tennessee
-Michigan looks much better than last year, as do Ark, SCar and Auburn
-UF needs to beef up their OOC scheduling

Arkansas was improving last season,South Carolina won't last long they will go 4-8,and Auburn better get better or more heads will roll

I don't know what you have been smoking but it is killing you Alabama is the Ohio State of the SEC yeah I said it and I personally can't wait until the Ole Miss Rebels get a hold of them for a little unfinished business I'm not a USC fan but I do root for them in the PAC-10 and Bama is no where on there level hell they are not on Flordia's level as you can tell I'm not a Alabama fan Anyway that sir was a mouthful you said Bama ain't there yet another year but I'm happy you are excited.

Jag that is crazy talk if you are worried about that slow start Saturday:dunno:on the serious side they are the only team that looks god on offense,defense and special teams the Cowboys just played with a lot of heart and did not back down but hey that is just me :thumbsup:

I don't know what you have been smoking but it is killing you Alabama is the Ohio State of the SEC yeah I said it and I personally can't wait until the Ole Miss Rebels get a hold of them for a little unfinished business I'm not a USC fan but I do root for them in the PAC-10 and Bama is no where on there level hell they are not on Flordia's level as you can tell I'm not a Alabama fan Anyway that sir was a mouthful you said Bama ain't there yet another year but I'm happy you are excited.

Problem with your argument is that most SEC schools don’t have the guts to play a home and away series outside of SEC country. USC, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Cal, Michigan State and West Virginia all have open invitations to do a home and away series with any SEC school.

After USC kicked the crap out if Auburn and Arkansas twice, no SEC school will take them up on it.

You forget the default response is, "the SEC is tough enough".

I have to say, I loved nothing more than being at the 2000 Orange Bowl and witnessing the utter horror on some of the faces of some of the Tide faithful when UM upset 'Bama.

A feeling only recently trumped by our defeat of UF and "god" (aka Tebow) in the '08 Cap One Bowl....I'm still trying to figure out how our slow Big Ten players were able to track down and outrun players from the SEC and their "superior speed"....:rofl:

I will say this Baill...."Sen. Tressel" stacks up wayyyy too much talent to keep playing FG football against some of these programs who don't play 3 yds. and a cloud of dust but can strike quickly from anywhere on the field.

Their defense last night....reminded me of the defense that beat Miami for the NC....it's a shame the offense didn't make enough plays to compliment their effort.:2 cents:

That was the best day of my life. Seeing SEC teams lose in bowl games is almost as good as watching USC annihilate teams in the Rose Bowl.

I think you were going in the right direction with this thinking. In fact, I've just come back from Heritage Hall with the great news now that the SC football program is shutdown, we have all these athletes available to dominate other sports. If Michigan has the monopoly on Rhythmic Gymnastics..I think SC might be able to cobble together a decent Badminton team. We might try to corner the market on some Equestrian events know that Traveller has nothing to do. Anyone got any thoughts on how Taylor Mays might perform in the Iditarod?
