Well that was quite shitty. I’d like to just blame Aaron Corp for the loss by my Trojans, but the blame pretty much falls on the WRs, the RBs, and the Defense on 3rd Down. Another game where SC plays great D on 1st and 2nd down, but gives up 3rd and a mile. I don’t know why PC’s defense goes to sleep on 3rd down, but we couldn’t stop the Huskies on 3rd down. We ran for almost 300 which should’ve been good enough but Fumbles McKnight showed up to play today. His second fumble was really brutal since he might’ve been able to score a winning TD had he held on to the goddamn rock. I think on Monday, PC needs to gather all WRs, pull off redshirts and open up the competition. David Ausberry is a total bust and, he really should just be benched at this point. If there’s a highly touted true freshman WR on the bench, it’s time to play him. Corp threw some truly awful passes, but nobody was really open for him. Ausberry is too slow and has stone hands. Damien Williams is awesome but he can’t win the game alone. Whether we can regroup and beat cal and save our Rose Bowl is too early to tell at this point. The Huskies didn’t really play all that great, imo, I thought they played far better against LSU. They just did enough to beat us and they let us self-destruct. I’m not going to say that Sark and Nick Holt outcoached us because it’s PC’s job to change things up and we have a new Offensive Coordinator. It was a sloppy mess of a performance by SC, and we have a mountain ahead of us to even think about playing in the Rose Bowl….Congrats to UW:hatsoff:. They’ve got to be considered a program on the rise based on their play against LSU and in this game. They're not going to be an easy Win for the rest of the Pac10.

I'm not so sure to be honest, great one. Bezerkley is a hellhole to play. cal is much better than UW. We don't have any WRs other than Damien Williams. cal will just blanket him and we'll be bouncing passes off of David Ausberry's hands all game long.
While I can't honestly say I think UW will win out and play in the Rose...I'm not convinced we'll win out either.
This team has issues at Linebacker, WR and Joe McKnight is unreliable. I think we only have 1 INT from a LB this season. We don't seem to create TOs anymore...:crying:
SC looks more like a Holiday Bowl team...sad to day...:weeping:

There is a lot of talk about whether Pete Carroll has an ego that dwarfs any Hollywood starlet's....he ran off Norm Chow and we have nothing to show except for Big Wins in Big Games AND Big Losses in Strange Situations...SC's first conference road game track record is not impressive. Another season without an NC......sigh.....

I don't think so, Florida had a slow start last year too. I really like Alabama too, but they're not on Florida's level.

Jake Locker reminds me a lot of Cade McNown. Yes once McNown left college he turned into a total head case, but he was an outstanding college quarterback who could beat you with his arm, his legs and his brain. Locker's the same, but in a bigger body.
