PSV Eindhoven - Lyon
damn, this match remind me something :(

I hope Lyon will beat the PSV this time ;)

Chelsea Barca again?
Last season's game at Stamford Bridge was arguably one of the best CL games of that season.

World Club Championship Final

Sao Paulo 1 Liverpool 0

Can't believe Liverpool lost this they completely dominated the match.Scored 3 times but all disallowed for offside.Last of these was a certain goal as he wasn't offside.Must say the ref was terrible and in the second half Sao Paulo didn't even have a shot at net. They goalie was certainly man of the match with some great saves.

2nd what you mean by 2nd fox they going for 1st in my book.Chelsea will only be 9 points in front of us if we win 2 games in hand. After christmas Chelsea have some tough matches coming up us,Man U and a few London derby's as well.

First lost since ages for Lyon against french club "Lille" ( 3 - 1 )
the end of a big never-loss strike :hatsoff:
last Lyon's loose was the 17th april

HA! YEAH I'M SAO PAULO SINCE I WAS A CHILD !! ITS OUR 3rd WC TROPHY !!!

Gerrard made some jokes during the last week saying that they are the best and all...and all ... You can not make jokes or talking bullshit before a match with a team from Brazil. You know... we have the best soccer players in the world and most of them are playing in Europe!

Sorry darkman did you look at match stats and also the 3rd disallowed goal.No way was that off side.Oh and while were on the subject your Brazilian team made to look like a joke. Here's just a little bit of the stats L-21 shots S-4,L-17 corners S-0 and Liverpool had 68% of the ball. The ref had a Soa Paulo shirt on underneath or a long odds bet with his bookie.I know it ended 1-0 to Sao Paulo but have this to say is there any wonder the European teams don't want to compete in this.Wrong time of year and poor ref's and linesman make it a joke.

If you're going to dwell on stats, may I remind you of Liverpool's CL final?
I don't have exact figures but if you watched it you know that Milan dominated for 114 minutes and Liverpool had merely 6 minutes of brilliance.
It only comes to show you possession and shots don't matter a thing, sometimes, and that's the reason soccer is such a good game, a surprise may always occur.

Off course they will : PSV no longer has Park and Van Bommel, Lyon' got Carew and Fred 2 gret forwards, the only thing they were missing last year.

Liverpool for the Prem this year? I WANT it, so badly, but do you know what you're asking? You're asking us to catch up with a team that has already thrashed us 4-1 and just won 2-0 at Highbury. They've only lost one so far, they'd have to lose 3 more or get a bunch of draws, ASSUMING Liverpool win their games in hand and EVERY other game... Chelsea are too strong. If we win the Prem this year, it'll be a miracle ten times the miracle fo the Champions League last year.

LIVERPOOL...

I've been supporting Benitez from the start, can I say.

Fox
I've seen Chelsea play about 10 times this season and believe me when I say they are a very lucky team. The 4-1 defeat to them was not a fair refection on the game it was just they finished better than us.Also since that game we have improved as a team ten fold.

Yes Chelsea have a lot of star players but they can't perform as a team. They also have the dirtiest player in europe in Essien again should have been sent off Sunday but got away with it.

Arsenal will be lucky to finish the season without losing 10 games if he doesn't spend during transfer window. There nowhere near the team they were and will be lucky to finish 4th at the moment. So don't take Chelsea's win yesterday as a land mark to them dominating the Premiership.

Poggy

I was in Sheffield this past summer. The home of the Human League and Def Leppard and Bramall Lane and Hillsborough (I visited both) and The Full Monty and Cutlery and am I forgetting anything? The home of Poggy.

Well anyway, I came in from the North East of the city and was crossing the North part looking for Hillsborough at about 6am when I saw a big rubbish bin on fire next to a building, and the building was about to catch fire. So we called the fire brigade. That is my Sheffield memory.

Do you like Wednesday or United? Do you remember when Roy Wegerle and John Harkes played for Wednesday or am I mistaken? Sheffield Wednesday have the coolest name in the football league (ahead of Nottingham Forest, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Milton Keynes Dons. And Tottenham Hotspur I suppose, though that club inadvertently got me banned from this list)

Fox

Live not to far from Bramall Lane in a area called Heeley. Now most of my family has either supported one or the other I'm the first not too.Brother and his son are United and father Wednesday.Out of the two been to United mostly and would say take more intrest in them rather than Wednesday.I still remember the 4-4 derby match as I went with a mate of mine back then. That is a match that neither of them mention as they was to many bad incidents in it.Yeah remember all of the Harkes,Waddle,Chapman,Francis,Woods in the net and even Walker, could go on forever.I'll tell you what though this young team United currently have could be something special.2nd in championship at moment with a big gap back to 3rd.

As for Sheffield it has changed alot since I was born very nearly 36 years ago. Some of it for the better others for the worst. The steel side is dead now but the city is the 4th largest in britain and the fastest growing. It's now known as the entertainment city of britain now also the green city as we have more parks, woodland and trees than any other city in britain. You do get your rough areas in the city Heeley used to be one but not now.

It's good to be the king...
Arsenal will face Wigan in the Carling Cup semi-finals after a lucky escape past giant-killers Doncaster.
They and Manchester United were kept apart, with Sir Alex Ferguson's side drawn against Blackburn.
The ties are to be played over two legs on the weeks beginning 9 January and 23 January.
The all-Premiership semi-finals begin with Wigan and Blackburn at home, before daunting away trips a fortnight later.
Blackburn earned their place in the semi-finals after a 1-0 win at 2004 winners Middlesbrough tonight.

And if that wasn't pleasing enough..
Everton had two players sent off and have now lost three games in a row...letting-in eleven goals in the process.
And as a bonus, Man'ure could only draw at Birmingham.
