It's good to be the king...
Well we all knew Chelski was going to win it again anyway (but at least a certain Scotsman won't get his mitts on the Prem title).

0-0 last night
poor game overall

i think 0-0 was a fair score, both teams had chances where they should have scored
especially Ronaldo just before half time.... can't believe he missed that

A bore draw don't you mean. This had to be one of the worst games of the season.

it was rubbish
think everyone was expecting the kind of game we had in this fixture laft season, the 4-2 was game of the season

The only winners from that match are Chelsea... not like they'd lose anyway.

Dontcha love the press screaming "Drudge Match" and "Bore Draw" (ok so it was...)

If last night's match was an incident-filled, blood 'n guts encounter, who would be the first to scream "throw the rule book at 'em"?

But I digress - who can stop Chelski in 2006-07?

Chelsea really have raisedd the bar the past couple of years.
they're just unstopable.

anyone else in a fantasy football league?

E van der Sar (Man U)

G Neville (Man U) -- J Terry (Chelsea) -- A del Horno (Chelsea) -- S Hyypia (Liverpool)

F Lampard (Chelsea) -- S Gerrard (Liverpool) -- M Pederson (Blackburn) -- D Murphy (Charlton)

W Rooney (Man U) -- D Bent (Charlton)

2006-07 is in a long time, Mourniho by then would probably shock us by moving to Real Madrid or something...
and if not, someone might catch an injury and ruin Mourniho's machine.

Hey don't want to sound biased, but don't rule out Liverpool next year.Rafa's seems to have worked out the Premiership now. You've only got to look at the improvement this year over last.If it wasn't for the poor start in the first 7 games we'd be a lot closer. Also we've in the postion we're in without a right sided player.

Also like I've said before on this thread the reason Chelsea are where they are is the fault of the other teams. They are not a great TEAM they have good players, but don't play well together. Also he often has his best striker sat on the bench. If you look at the games they've play where the other team has gone and attacked them, they've either drawn or lost most of them.

So to sum up it will be tough but yes Chelsea can be beat next season.

I'm Arsenal, one of my sons is Manchester Utd and the other is Liverpool fan.
So you see a colorfull combinarion.
Here in Peru we see the Premiere League by FoxSports. with locution from Argentina.

seems like the CL will prove if Chelsea isn't really the best or it's just the EPL that can't stop them.

Heard today that Paddy Power bookmakers paid out to those who had backed Chelsea for the title in....September!

No that was just a rumour as that happened before. If memory serves me right they paid out just after christmas one year.I think it was Man U who was about 15 points clear and beating everyone but Arsenal went on a great run and won the title.Or the other way round, but they learnt from that lesson so didn't pay out.But did say they should pay out now back in September.

Well, it was BBC Newsroom South East that supplied that info. It was Man Utd who were way ahead a few years back that the bookies paid out on.

As I said ^ and thats what the BBC,all other TV channels and newspapers reported on.They did not actually pay out to anyone at that point.

Yeah, I heard it on BBC News as well - is this the same Paddy Power who was already taking bets on Pope Benedict's successor? See attached link:
