Okay, now I know you're a Gator fan. I'm assuming you believe that Urban Meyer is a good coach, correct? So how 'bout the one game the Gators lost this year, against Ole Miss? Did it appear to you during that game that the Gators were 100% "up" for that game? If not, then Urban Meyer must be a failure in your eyes since he didn't get his team "up" to play the Rebels that day. That's what you're saying with your BS attempt at logic, dummy.
alright you, mr. know it all...first off it's really hard to go unbeaten in a season...the gators were ready for that game...things just didnt fall there way and tebow got stuffed on a 4th and short...and due to that missed extra point, the gators lost that game...were they ready for that game? yes...did they win? no...end of story
Okay, so by that line of reasoning, ALL coaches are at least partial failures as far as you're concerned because I've seen games from teams coached by guys like Jim Tressel, Pete Carroll, Bobby Bowden, Joe Paterno, Mack Brown, Bob Stoops, and MANY OTHERS, where their team simply wasn't ready to play. Those are some of the head football coaches that are thought of as being the BEST in college football right now, and you're prepared to say that because they don't get their teams ready to play EACH and EVERY time their team is scheduled to that they're not really very good coaches? Is that what you're trying to say? 'Cause if you are then I'd say that you're coming off looking like a colossal fool, considering the overall amount of success all of those coaches have had over their storied careers. But, suit yourself.
examples of coaches not living to it's hype...weis, TT from auburn, the vols coach, weis keeps his job...but does he have a team to win next year? and be a contender in the bcs picture? probably not...and again, why? it falls on the coaches shoulders that the players didnt perfrom...and the coaches get fired or their in the discussion to get fired...who's the fool? just cuz i made a case for boise state, asshole...u dont have to jump all over me
Maybe not, but you know what? That doesn't matter 'cause USC WON'T be behind Penn State that late in the game. At least, I don't believe they will.
well, your assuming and that game hasnt happened yet, so we wont know until then
No, it's not. But you can't rely on a superior opponent NOT taking your team seriously every time in order to give you a chance of beating them. The next time Boise State plays a GOOD team from a "BCS" conference, and as long as that team TAKES THE BOISE STATE BRONCOS SERIOUSLY FROM THE OPENING KICKOFF, we'll see how well Boise State does against them.
well, we will never know until the bowls come out with the match ups and see who boise matches up against, now will we
This post and some of your other posts are complete nonsense, Luv. What the hell does Boise State's performance last year mean for this year? NOTHING DUDE. Leave it in the past. I know that, in your mind, Ohio State was good enough last year so that must be the reason why they are in the BCS this year, but that faulty logic ***** THE SANCTITY OF THE BCS.
Boise State would beat you beloved Ohio State THIS YEAR. Not NEXT YEAR and not LAST YEAR. THIS SEASON. YES, THEY WOULD because THIS YEAR'S BUCKEYES SUCK. Plain and simple. The Buckeyes had their chance to make their case and lost their 2 most important games. Ohio State and USC AND Boise State are all being harmed by their conferences overall shittiness collectively. But tOSU had its chances this season to win and they didn't in the big games.
Texas is going to pound them and frankly, as a Buckeyes fan, the last thing I would think you'd want for your team is watching them getting a pounding on national TV in a bowl game BECAUSE THE ENTIRE NATION will be venting frustration at Ohio State for not belonging in the BCS!
Is it Boise State's fault that their "superior" opponents don't take them seriously in your eyes? Seriously? Do you think Boise State gives a **** about that? They play. They win. End of story.
I fail to see how you claim Ohio State would play better in the USC game if only Pryor had more experience. Dude. That's another lame excuse. Maybe USC would've hung 80 on Ohio State if Sanchez had more experience. It was his first season starting too.:dunno:
I am the Boise State dicklicker on this board, so keep that in mind. I do believe Boise State should leave the WAC and head into the Mountain West. Will the MWC want a potential Goliath program in their conference? Maybe, maybe not. But I don't think they can be held accountable for their opponents on their schdule playing great or sucking. You make the schedule and you play the opponent. Nobody has a crystal ball to determine WHICH TEAMS WILL BE AWESOME IN 4 Years and which teams will suck..these schedules are determined years in advance you know. Fresno State tries to play any bigname opponent for ALL THEIR OOC. They win some. They lose some. But this strategy means they've never won a Conf CHampionship since Boise State became a power. Maybe this is not the best strategy in the BCS universe.
Boise State has had 4 undefeated seasons in 7 years? They're not as bad as you seem to think. Oregon was ranked #19 when the beat them. Maybe Boise State will try to get some OOC games with some national powers but will the national powers want to to play them now...:dunno:
