Okay, now I know you're a Gator fan. I'm assuming you believe that Urban Meyer is a good coach, correct? So how 'bout the one game the Gators lost this year, against Ole Miss? Did it appear to you during that game that the Gators were 100% "up" for that game? If not, then Urban Meyer must be a failure in your eyes since he didn't get his team "up" to play the Rebels that day. That's what you're saying with your BS attempt at logic, dummy.

alright you, mr. know it all...first off it's really hard to go unbeaten in a season...the gators were ready for that game...things just didnt fall there way and tebow got stuffed on a 4th and short...and due to that missed extra point, the gators lost that game...were they ready for that game? yes...did they win? no...end of story

Okay, so by that line of reasoning, ALL coaches are at least partial failures as far as you're concerned because I've seen games from teams coached by guys like Jim Tressel, Pete Carroll, Bobby Bowden, Joe Paterno, Mack Brown, Bob Stoops, and MANY OTHERS, where their team simply wasn't ready to play. Those are some of the head football coaches that are thought of as being the BEST in college football right now, and you're prepared to say that because they don't get their teams ready to play EACH and EVERY time their team is scheduled to that they're not really very good coaches? Is that what you're trying to say? 'Cause if you are then I'd say that you're coming off looking like a colossal fool, considering the overall amount of success all of those coaches have had over their storied careers. But, suit yourself.

examples of coaches not living to it's hype...weis, TT from auburn, the vols coach, weis keeps his job...but does he have a team to win next year? and be a contender in the bcs picture? probably not...and again, why? it falls on the coaches shoulders that the players didnt perfrom...and the coaches get fired or their in the discussion to get fired...who's the fool? just cuz i made a case for boise state, asshole...u dont have to jump all over me

Maybe not, but you know what? That doesn't matter 'cause USC WON'T be behind Penn State that late in the game. At least, I don't believe they will.

well, your assuming and that game hasnt happened yet, so we wont know until then

No, it's not. But you can't rely on a superior opponent NOT taking your team seriously every time in order to give you a chance of beating them. The next time Boise State plays a GOOD team from a "BCS" conference, and as long as that team TAKES THE BOISE STATE BRONCOS SERIOUSLY FROM THE OPENING KICKOFF, we'll see how well Boise State does against them.

well, we will never know until the bowls come out with the match ups and see who boise matches up against, now will we

This post and some of your other posts are complete nonsense, Luv. What the hell does Boise State's performance last year mean for this year? NOTHING DUDE. Leave it in the past. I know that, in your mind, Ohio State was good enough last year so that must be the reason why they are in the BCS this year, but that faulty logic ***** THE SANCTITY OF THE BCS.

Boise State would beat you beloved Ohio State THIS YEAR. Not NEXT YEAR and not LAST YEAR. THIS SEASON. YES, THEY WOULD because THIS YEAR'S BUCKEYES SUCK. Plain and simple. The Buckeyes had their chance to make their case and lost their 2 most important games. Ohio State and USC AND Boise State are all being harmed by their conferences overall shittiness collectively. But tOSU had its chances this season to win and they didn't in the big games.

Texas is going to pound them and frankly, as a Buckeyes fan, the last thing I would think you'd want for your team is watching them getting a pounding on national TV in a bowl game BECAUSE THE ENTIRE NATION will be venting frustration at Ohio State for not belonging in the BCS!

Is it Boise State's fault that their "superior" opponents don't take them seriously in your eyes? Seriously? Do you think Boise State gives a **** about that? They play. They win. End of story.

I fail to see how you claim Ohio State would play better in the USC game if only Pryor had more experience. Dude. That's another lame excuse. Maybe USC would've hung 80 on Ohio State if Sanchez had more experience. It was his first season starting too.:dunno:

I am the Boise State dicklicker on this board, so keep that in mind. I do believe Boise State should leave the WAC and head into the Mountain West. Will the MWC want a potential Goliath program in their conference? Maybe, maybe not. But I don't think they can be held accountable for their opponents on their schdule playing great or sucking. You make the schedule and you play the opponent. Nobody has a crystal ball to determine WHICH TEAMS WILL BE AWESOME IN 4 Years and which teams will suck..these schedules are determined years in advance you know. Fresno State tries to play any bigname opponent for ALL THEIR OOC. They win some. They lose some. But this strategy means they've never won a Conf CHampionship since Boise State became a power. Maybe this is not the best strategy in the BCS universe.

Boise State has had 4 undefeated seasons in 7 years? They're not as bad as you seem to think. Oregon was ranked #19 when the beat them. Maybe Boise State will try to get some OOC games with some national powers but will the national powers want to to play them now...:dunno:

That's true. They're both extremely over-rated college quarterbacks who are getting 100% of the credit for what their team is accomplishing. Not to mention, they're both nothing more than a flash in the pan.

:2 cents:

nobody is getting 100% of the credit so i have no idea where you came up with that. the biggest difference between Gators in 2007 and 2008 is defense. but ask any Gator who is their leader, and they will say Tebow. he is one of the greatest players in college football history. why the sorry-ass attempt to diss him???

You and "young_guns" MUST be suckin' each other off after seeing this. First of all, I'm NOT an Ohio State Buckeye fan. Never have been and I probably never will be. But do I believe, unlike you and the other Boise State dicklicker, that the Buckeyes would beat Boise State given the opportunity this season. Yes, I do. All we have is YOUR opinion on the matter, the other Boise State Bronco dicklicker's opinion on the matter, and my opinion on the matter because those two teams aren't playing each other this season. Period. So you have your opinion and I have mine and let's leave it at that. As for Boise State going unbeaten so many times in the last few years, unlike what you and the other Boise State dicklicker want to believe, that has more to do with the LACK OF COMPETITION in that sorry-ass conference for Boise State than it does with Boise State's actual status within the world of college football. I don't know why you and the other Boise State dicklicker are convinced that if those orange-and-blue clad wienies played in a REAL football conference they'd still come out smelling like a rose every year, but you do, and that's why I refer to you both as Boise State dicklickers 'cause that's what you are. End of story. I don't lick dicks like you two do so I have no shame in putting my opinions forth on these matters. You two, on the other hand, should. Pity that you don't.

Luv...actually, you're wrong on this one. Penn State fans, Florida State fans have wanted their legends to "leave the game" because they felt the game ****** them by. Florida State was untouchable in the 90s and started to lose their grip in the 2000s. They have not been in the National Championship discussion for years and don't look like they will be anytime soon. Same with Penn State, although this year and last year, JoePa has "saved" his legacy. He could retire win or lose after this Rose Bowl and he'd leave the Nittany Lions "on top," Big11 CHamps...Rose Bowl..etc.

As a Trojan, I get CRANKY at Pete Carroll for seemingly NOT HAVING THE TROJANS ready to play stanford, oregon state, ucla, etc. How many NCs and Perfect Seasons would SC HAVE NOW if the team didn't lose to shitards in the past? I have no problem with how Pete gets SC ready for "Big Games":thefinger BUT....especially now with Sark leaving there is no connection to Norm Chow in Trojanland and the last time I felt HAPPY with SC's Offense was when Norm Chow was calling the plays. The Lane Kiffin/Sark combo post-Chow sucked. Steve Sarkisian alone has been a mixed bag...given all the 5-star talent on the roster. I don't know who Pete Carroll has in mind to replace Sark but I hope he won't give the keys to the PORSCHE PROGRAM to a frat buddy greasemonkey either. I want someone to call plays who's actually DONE SOMETHING in COllege for SC....maybe Dirk Koetter? Maybe someone I can't think of right now....
You're NOT going to be able to get a team "ready to play" EVERY time it has a game. You're just not. They're human and sometimes they just won't get motivated to play. It's that simple. To suggest that the head coach should always be at fault for not getting his team ready to play every Saturday is just unrealistic. Why do you think upsets happen? Part of the reason is that sometimes favored teams don't respect underdogs and don't come mentally ready to play their games. Simple. Except that it's too complicated a matter for you and the other Boise State dicklicker to get through your thick skulls, apparently. Too bad for you.

WRONG Boise State dicklicker #2 - it's really hard to go unbeaten in a conference THAT PROVIDES REAL competition on an every-week or almost every-week basis, like the SEC does. And unlike what the wienie WAC does for your favorite blow job target, Boise State. Second, how the hell do you know that Florida was 100% ready for that game? You don't, so I don't know why you're trying to answer the question ('course, I don't know why you try to answer ANY questions since you're such a dumbass, just like Boise State dicklicker #1).

And your "case" for Boise State was a weak one, just as it was from Boise State dicklicker #1. You two are pathetic, both of you.

ok, asshole...sometimes you are ready to play a game...but the breaks dont go your way...or a big play on special teams...or on D...and the facts are boise state is ranked higher than ohio state...and they get the shaft...just simplying stating a fact and putting in my 2 cents...by you just attacking out of the blue...just really states the fact that you just wanna ****** people for no reason...simply agreeing and disagreeing that's all...u really just wanna ****** people personally...ok, that's cool of you, really cool

well, we will never know until the bowls come out with the match ups and see who boise matches up against, now will we
Now we do. It's gonna be TCU. Not the matchup I wanted for Boise State in the bowls, but it should be a good one. TCU held Oklahoma to 35 points this season. The only other team to "hold" them to that few points was Texas. Boise State vs. TCU - I'll be watching that one!! (Oh, by the way, Boise State dicklicker #2 - Boise State has actually LOST 3 of its last 4 bowl games, so I guess they haven't been doing quite as well in the bowls as you and Boise State dicklicker #1 have been trying to imply with your constant reminder of how Boise State beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl a couple of years ago, have they?)

:bowdown::bowdown:
I KNEW you and Boise State dicklicker #1 were sucking each other off!!

ok, u cock sucking know it all...
No, I'm not a "know-it-all." But I certainly know more than you and Boise State dicklicker #1 do about college football, no question about that!

And dumbasses like you and Boise State dicklicker #1 who put lamebrained opinions out is cyberspace for all to see don't know squat, either. But in YOUR case you prove with your idiotic posts, just as Boise State dicklicker #1 does.

Goddamned right! (Of course, I stated that explicitly in an earlier post - why you felt you had to clarify it is beyond me)

Texas sure as hell didn't look ready to play Texas Tech in the first half of their game! Texas Tech sure as hell didn't look ready to play Oklahoma for pretty much the ENTIRE game. Penn State didn't appear to be ready to play Iowa. USC wasn't prepared for Oregon State. You gonna tell me that because their teams weren't ready to play in those games this year that Mack Brown, Mike Leach, Joe Paterno, and Pete Carroll don't know how to coach college football? Yeah, you and Boise State dicklicker #1 are BRILLIANT.

well, we're really beating a dead *****, cuz the bowls are already out...boise state should of still gotten some consideration
Well, they didn't, so I guess you and they are gonna have to be content with them playing TCU. TCU has a TOUGH defense so that game should be a REAL good one!

This post makes no sense, which comes as no surprise since it came from you. Do you understand what it means to put your thoughts together in a coherent manner and in a way that is understandable by others? I guess not.

Yes, we will. Boise State might just win it, I don't know. But it won't be as easy for them as most games they play in the pussy WAC are!

And you're gettin' on me about "name calling" when you're using a "********" emoticon in reference to something I TYPED?!? I knew you and Boise State dicklicker #1 were whacked, but you're even more whacked-out than I previously thought! I feel sorry for you, bub. To a point.
