Why Obama?

Yeah, let's all prove we're open-midned by voting for the black man. Because if we don't vote for a black man we are NOT open-minded! We're nothing but racists! Racist... bigot.. Nazis..!

Is it really that simple? Or do some people think about what he's been saying all along? :dunno:

That's not true.

You don't understand me at all.

What I mean is this:

I like Obama's views on the issues.

I DON'T like McCains views on the issues.

And that is why I support Obama.

(would you be saying the same thing about me if I was a McCain supporter instead)?

You like his ideas about baby-holocaust, war with Pakistan (???), and shady dancing around the subject of religion?

He's open minded because he is supporting even though he is a self proclaimed republican(which I know he is as have known him a while from here) the democrate. But the last part of your post is probably accurate at least for some.

I don't find that response surprising given your display picture of the footprint of the American chicken.

Yes, I watched part 2 last night, and recall all those reasons McCain is talking like an idiot about the war. There comes a time to cut your losses, especially when the war was willfully and knowingly entered into on all false pretenses. They should have left the Iraqi military employed to fix the infrastructure and the US should have taken responsibility for the mistake, but that would be admitting the wrong.

Stay the course? My God! You don't start in Missouri and keep driving West to get to New York, it's idiotic and this is what all that cheering and shouting at McCain rallies supports.

BTW, LBJ part 1 and 2 are available free on line now on the www.pbs.org site. Most people however don't care about any of that.

Whoops! Gotta run! Dancing with the Stars is on! It's so much more important

LOL!! You're watching PBS for information on Republicans?

That's like asking for Mussolini's opinion on Socialism...

I don't know whether to agree with you or not. If my ass was dragged across an ocean against my will and I was sold into slavery, I would probably feel it was as much as my right to live in peace when getting out of that nightmare as any of the people that dragged me there. Having been there a good long time through generations, I might just have to disagree with anyone who said I should go back where I came from. I don't necessarly think actions like those show a good deal of superiority on the part of people commiting those acts that all races see as unconscionable, but it could just be me, I don't always get it right. :dunno:

Dragged across the ocean against your will? No, that's not exactly how slavery happened. Slaves were traded for willingly, in mutual agreements with their tribes. A fork would be worth one slave, for example. A kettle would be worth two or three. It was a fair trade no matter how outrageously the Africans ripped themselves off. It was not a rape-and-kill matter is what I'm getting at.

Sorry can you explain that. I really don't know what you mean. :dunno:

I mean that PBS is the most Liberal, Leftist network on the whole of television. They show nothing that isn't extremely Leftist and anti-Right. Believing something said about Republicans on PBS is like believing Allied war propaganda about soap being made from jew-fat etc.

Then if your chief sold you, it was to send you on to a better life in the New World?
I know in rural China (and even in the US), people leave their villages to seek better opportunities in the cities, so it would be like that.

And the approriate avatar for you would be a red background with a white circle with a black equilateral cross with its arms bent at right angles. You know the one favored by members of storm trooper/stormfront type organizations.

Yes, and their conditions under slavery WERE better than their lives in Africa. They lived in houses, they had a tolerable climate, they were fed well, and appreciated.

Actually I've already said I'm not a National Socialist so that would be a very weird emblem for me to adopt, wouldn't it? If anything I'd use the symbol of a tree log and axe.

Yes, it's always been very cold in Western Africa, and don't forget the long ocean voyage. That would be worth a fortune today, comfortable accomodations, meals brought to you, and even the days activites all planned. $100-$200 per diem?

Can you sue if you are one of the roughly 40% who never survived the pleasure cruise over??

White Man Travel Ltd. is not responsible for any lost property or injury during the travel. What, couldn't they read English?

Well it's an amazing piece of research you've done. I mean did you actually think of this stuff yourself? You know, put the pieces together on your own, or did you get an education in one of those real American areas Palin told us about after leaving the fourth grade? I mean I have to use the, Soc, Soci, you know, the "S" word here to try to describe what I'm seeing, but not the same as Obama's. I'm thinking Sociopathic?

Do you know these guys?

Because most of you that voted for Bush feel bad and now want to make ammends or "make things right" by voting for B.O., so you all still not getting it right. Let's see in 2012 when you all vote without using your emotions of either fear or anger. With him you all are getting it wrong again.

SO what is right about Mccain?? How would a 72 year old man who voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time be getting it right??
