What do you plan on having for Christmas dinner???

I have that!!!

Actually I think we are having lasagna. I shall eat the family size, they can have what is left on the sides of the tray.

A Pot Noodle.
2 Packets of Cheese & Onion Crisps (Chips).
A Can of Diet Coke.

Is that a Christmas tradition? Several people told me they're having lasagna.

Perhaps. :dunno:

We usually have beef that sits in the pot all day on a medium heat to make it sweet and tender along with variety of other meats, vegetables, and sides.

This year is quite off.

My girlfriend's mother makes a homemade lasagna with all this Italian stuff added in it. Something like that. It's good. But I am a fan of Stouffer's family size.

Beef & tomato or Chicken curry?

I didn't know they did a chicken curry one. Chicken and Mushroom or Curry, not both though. That would be interesting to try the Chicken Curry one. No, unfortunately it will not be Beef & Tomato as that one stinks now. The fuckers fucked it up by taking most of the salt out of the product. The taste suffers now because of it.

It will have to be Chicken & Mushroom (with a touch of ground black pepper added).

I was talking to my friend's fiance who lives over in Italy earlier today, she's making sarmale for her and her mother, along with a lot of pastries. Here's one she just made today.

I KNEW there was something different last time I had one. Whenever I return to the UK I 'treat' myself to a Pot Noodle (memories of school ..). It fucking blew, and not in the good way Pot Noodles used to blow.

Now I know.

Is nothing sacred?

Turkey sausage, turkey lasagna, homemade garlic bread and garlic biscuits. My family's cooking, but my girl's family is bringing their own homemade Polish wine (which is awesome) and deserts.

I think they have done this to the whole range of flavours now. They all suffer because of it, but some are more bearable than others. Pot Noodles used to be the food of Kings lol. Now they are nothing but a mere shadow of their former product.

Stouffer's? Nothing like a box of preservatives!:D I may get my future mother-in-law to make some lasagna for me.

Anyhow, I got the menu for our gig and it goes as follows:

Fresh Guacamole Dip & Authentic Tortilla Chips

Fresh Pacific Dungeness Crab by the leg (cracked)

Sausage bread w/ Mozzarella Cheese

Baby Back Ribs

Celery Root Salad

Steamed Artichokes whole

& 3 different salads

+ wine beer & liquor

I cooked a big dinner last night for family and friends... Turkey, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, brocolli casserole, sweet potatos, mac and cheese, sweet peas, and for desert a carmel-apple pie (store bought, I do suck at baking). Lots of good ol' Southern holidy comfort food. It was awesome!
