Beautiful People reunion tour

Velvet Sky is contemplating a “Beautiful People” reunion tour with former partner Angelina Love. She tweeted, “How many #PigeonArmy fans and BP fans wanna see a Beautiful People Reunion tour? #HOLLERHOLLERING&#8236.

Meanwhile, Sky and Love have been announced to appear for Northeast Wrestling on Saturday, September 22 at Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill, New York. Other talent scheduled to appear include Hulk Hogan, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Lita, Matt Hardy, Mickie James, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Jimmy Hart, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Vader.

It's being said that Velvet Sky might be leaving TNA soon. If this is true and I do mean if, maybe Sabin can leave with her and possibly create a MCMG reunion at a certain company up north. Maybe even throw Angelina Love into the mix.

This is a rumor so far. TNA needs to stop this now. They are losing people and keeping others that should go.
 
Update on Velvet Sky

To add even more confusion to Velvet Sky’s current TNA contract status amidst rumors that she will be leaving the company in the near future, her profile was removed from the ImpactWrestling.com roster page Wednesday before being placed back after the news was posted here and on other websites. Even though the profile is back up on the website, another sign she is no longer with the company is the fact she’ll be appearing at an indy event and i-PPV.

Sky is currently being advertised for the Pro Wrestling Syndicate on September 14. The event will take place from the Rahway Recreation Center in Rahway, NJ. Though contracted TNA Wrestling talent are permitted to appear for independent wrestling promotions, they are prohibited from appearing on shows which are broadcast.

Velvet Sky granted release

Velvet Sky, who developed a rabid following courtesy of her skimpy attire and suggestive ring entrances, is gone from TNA iMPACT! Wrestling. The wrestling starlet announced Thursday that she has been granted her release from the organization.

“I have been granted my release by TNA at this time. It’s what’s best for me right now and I wanted to thank TNA and all the fans for their constant support in me. Stay tuned though,” she wrote on Twitter.

“And I also want to thank Vince Russo for creating and believing in the team of The Beautiful People. We had a great run! @Actualalove.”

Multiple online outlets reported this week that the popular female grappler was parting ways with TNA due to a contract dispute. She had been with the organization since the inception of the Knockouts division in October 2007.

WWE handles the women's division, much like much of the rest of their wrestlers, poorly. They get about 1-3 minutes tops weekly, no promos unless you're the odd Diva of the Month*, and no storylines. They've had talented women in that company for years, from Mickie James, Gail Kim, Natalya Niedhart, Beth Phoenix, and even Melina wasn't half bad sometimes. And they did nothing memorable with them in matches. Gail and Melina had some quality matches on Superstars, but it was never shown on television because Vince had his, then, Diva Favorite doing roll up after rollups to Beth Phoenix. There's no substance at all. It causes things to become pretty boring, and forgetful.

* they've done it to everybody, from Alicia Fox, Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, Natalya, Beth Phoenix, Maryse, Tamina, and Laya (now). They'll win match after match, with no story-driven reason or anything, they win the title, and loses it until he finds the next qualifier. It has been this way for years!

The AJ thing is new, and it'll eventually die down. Maybe she'll be somewhere with a male talent like Bryan, Ambrose, or somebody else. But she's one of the women wrestlers who get these random pushes, like noted above.

So? Having them strip down gives more of the audience a reason to want to see them, and not view them as a 3 min. bathroom break, or channel changer. TNA's Knockouts for a good while had the most viewers of anybody else on the show. They sexed it up, but they were given a good deal of time to work in the ring too.

i think the last "diva" to get a full & lengthy storyline and more than 3 minutes of air time was CHYNA when she was with DX then went on to be the IC champ? i think that is what she won when she beat double J ....JEFF JARRETT.
 
Velvet Sky possibly returning to TNA!

Velvet Sky may not be at the end of her TNA days after all. Sources in TNA have confirmed that Dixie Carter called Velvet after she got her release papers in order to discuss what it would take to bring her back in.

Some within TNA, possibly Dixie herself, were upset at learning that Velvet was gone, particularly after she had just shot a music video with Montgomery Gentry through the company and due to the amount of time TNA had invested in her. There is no word on whether negotiations have taken place and at this point, no new deal has been signed.

We reported several weeks ago that Bruce Prichard, who serves as Talent Relations for the organization, has reportedly asked numerous wrestlers to restructure their contracts. A company source says some talent who have time remaining on their deals are among those being asked to restructure, even if they’re due for raises. Many of those individuals believe they are being presented with “take it or leave it” type offers.

I figured this would be a good place as any to ask...

I guess there's some rumors circulating that Claire Lynch is being played by a former porn star. Anyone have any knowledge of this development?

Edit: I guess there were some who claimed she was Kourtney Kole. Through further investigation, that's definitely not the case. Goofy people!
 
Definitely a bummer about Velvet Sky, my favorite female in wrestling, along with Mickie James.

I guess Bully Ray wants to be a Knockout...or a Diva....He refers to himself as "The LITA uda bullination". 3:35
