Total Nonstop Action wrestling thread

I was paying more attention to her than the match. :D Besides, give her a break, she's been out for months, it takes time to get back to the way she was. You don't expect her to just do it overnight, do you? Let's see YOU wrestle! :1orglaugh

Ah, ring rust...what can you do? She looked great, and the show itself was one of the more memorable ones in the last little while. Foley putting himself through the table for free was predictable but hilarious, as was Nash's face when he saw it. Morgan winning wasn't a huge surprise, as we'll surely have the swerve at the PPV when Morgan actually lays down for Kurt or whatever. Good match with AJ...that Carbon Footprint nearly took his frickin' head off.

TNA has really been stellar as of late. I think they are upping their game. The whole Jarrett thing might be the best that ever happened to them.

I always like Morgan. That was a sick looking footprint!

Foley and Nash = ownage!

The ladies four way match was great.

And, it was great to see Christy back. Yeah, she has ring rust, but she's back. yay! :)

kurt angle arrested Premium Link Upgrade

According to a criminal report filed in Pittsburgh today, Kurt Angle has been arrested and is currently in the Allegheny County Jail.

Angle was questioned by police, under suspicion of DUI, and when they searched the vehicle, they found used syringes and two vials of HGH. Angle claimed that he had a ************ for the medication, and could provide that to police.

Angle is currently awaiting arraignment on the following charges:

* Driving while operating privileges suspended
* Prohibited acts
* Possession
* Harassment

Angle is scheduled to defend the TNA Title tomorrow night at the Hard Justice PPV in Orlando, Florida.

HGH? :rolleyes:

I don't believe Angle will be defending the title. ;)

Jarrett might be back and Angle might just be gone soon.

I knew Kurt would try that :) fair play to the blueprint for telling him to stick it :thumbsup: im an MEM Fan but im also a Matt Morgan fan and he is his own man :glugglug: Angelina and Velvet looking incredibly Hot as always :bowdown:

Kurt Angle Arrest Update: Will It Affect Jarrett’s Position?

PWInsider.com reports that Kurt Angle is still currently in custody at Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh, PA and is awaiting arraignment on the multiple charges brought against him this morning. TNA sources believe after arraignment this afternoon he’ll head to Orlando for the Hard Justice PPV, but the company is still working on alternative plans just incase.

TNA talents are said to be surprised by the turn of events, especially because Kurt and the girl in question--TNA knockout Rhaka Khan--are currently living together in Angle’s home. There had been rumors among wrestlers that Kurt broke up with her, and actually once told her to leave the premises of his house, but since then they had been seen in public together.

A big discussion among those in TNA is how ironic the situation is, just after the issues between Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett over Karen Angle were revealed on Bubba The Love Sponge’s radio show. A lot of people are waiting to see how this arrest may play into Jarrett’s position within TNA going forward.

After the power struggle between these two, just to find out Angle is not reliable and he was only trying to edge out Jarrett.
I hope Jarrett is brought back and given all his power back.

Tara Forgets Last Night's Match, TNA Beats WWE In The UK.

Did you know? For the week ending August 2nd, TNA Impact outdrew both Raw and SmackDown (and presumably ECW, WWE After Burn, WWE Bottom Line, WWE Experience, etc..) in the UK. The July 30th edition of Impact drew 70,000 viewers, beating Raw by 13,000 viewers and Smackdown by 25,000 viewers. (source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter)

In celebration, TNA personality Jeremy Borash made the following tweet on his Twitter account: "Did you know??? Once again in this week's ratings, TNA iMPACT! beat Raw, Smackdown, and ECW in the UK"

Tara took a pretty hard fall during a Knockouts match that aired on last night's episode of Impact during the spot in which climbed up to the top turnbuckle in order to a hit a cross body onto the floor. Unfortunately, Tara hit her head on the cement floor and in a post on her Twitter account, said she doesn't remember the rest of the match (which saw her roll-up Awesome Kong for the win). Tara wrote: "Thank you for the concern. I don't remember the rest of the match after hitting the cement with my head. But it's not ballet & I won. YAY!!"

What a Let Down that was :dunno:. Angelina lost her title. Matt Morgan got screwed and Earl hebner is still a Useless ref :*****:

**** Money lost and why isn't LAX back together?

The tag team division is slacking off.
TNA needs to continue in the direction they were going with the tag-team division. It was great.

Kurt Angle is still champion?
He's unreliable and needs to be stripped of the title soon.

The "Legends" title is a joke.

The Original Hardcore Legend Terry Funk needs to come to TNA and win it.
:D

So Cody Deaner is the new Knockouts Champion. Way to go TNA, what a way to continue to **** all over your best division. I feel sorry for the Knockouts.

Chyna as the Intercontinental Champion :tongue:

by Nick Paglino
Aug 17, 2009

It's being reported by PWInsider.com that at tonight's TNA Impact tapings, Don West was NOT on color commentary and he was replaced by Taz. It seems as if TNA is going with Mike Tenay and Taz as the new announce team and Don West has reportedly been moved into a merchandise sales position within the company.

Hulk Hogan interested in TNA?

Speculation about Hulk Hogan possibly having interest in going to TNA has been making the rounds on wrestling Web sites. In an interview with The Southtown Star, Hogan spoke favorably about the company and said he still wants to wrestle.

Hogan, who also had complimentary things to say about WWE in the interview, said: “[TNA's] like the little engine that could. Everybody thought they wouldn't be around for long, and they've been chugging along for seven years. They gain momentum every week. They seem to be real fresh. When a lot of guys go over to that side of the fence, they seem to get a spring in their step.”

He went on to say: “TNA is lacking that one momentum-shifting move, that one big name that would even the playing field. … [TNA's] lacking the big piece of the puzzle.”

It certainly could be interpreted that Hogan was referring to himself as the missing piece of the puzzle. Keep in mind, however, that this is Hogan, who is one of the all-time great workers – and I’m not talking about his skills in the ring. Everything he says must be taken with a grain of salt.
