Kurt Angle Speaks On Retiring & Getting Into Acting.

On acting after he retires from wrestling: "I’m kind of caught in the middle right now but I am making the jump into movies. I’m in four films this year.

On WWE Films: "I knew I had to make a choice. I knew being in the WWE, the money was there, the movies were there with WWE Films, but I wanted to go outside the circle, the realm of WWE, and spring out on my own. When you are with WWE, you are under the WWE umbrella.

On the movie he's currently filming: "The movie I am working on right now is called WARRIOR. My character’s name is Koba. I play an unknown but respected fighter from Russia. I have been taking Russian accent classes and learning how to speak Russian and I have been training my ass off at the Pittsburgh Fight Club.

Abyss Says He’s Turned Down Three WWE Offers.

TNA wrestler Abyss says he has turned down three separate offers from the folks at WWE out of loyalty for the company that put him on international TV. Abyss, real name Chris Parks, says that WWE’s interest level in signing him to a deal was “high.”

"I've had opportunities to go there," Abyss said on the U.K. Sun's WrestleCast show. "There was high interest from WWE, but I just haven't had any interest in going. I'm one of the originals, I've been with TNA since the one year anniversary of the company, and very few people in this business can say they've been there from the beginning."

Details Behind Recent TNA Firing, Kip James Still With TNA.

As reported last week, TNA fired referee Rudy Charles (real name Dan Engler) in a cost-cutting measure. TNA's decision to let him shocked a number of people because he was popular with management and had been with the company from the start, not to mention that he performed so many tasks for the company. However, the feeling is TNA will simply hire a local referee to replace him, and that others in the office will pick up the jobs he was doing. Although it's been noted they'll have to be trained to run the errands he did. Besides being a referee and involved in timing of the shows, he also sat in on creative meetings. It was also said that TNA could save on transportation costs by using a referee who lived near Orlando.

New TNA Knockout Starting Next Week, Alissa Flash, More.

As reported earlier, international female wrestler Ayako Hamada signed a contract with TNA Wrestling this past week. Hamada has arrived in the United States and is scheduled to make her TNA debut during next week's slate of television tapings. (source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter)

Melissa Anderson, who debuted under the name "Alissa Flash" during last night's edition of Impact, has launched a Twitter account under the moniker.

i agree Bobby should join the UFC and Rip that stupid tattoo off Brock's chest. those anybody know how long is the contract Bobby Lashley sighed? is ODB still under contract with TNA?

look Lashley and Brock are almost the same size & weight. if they were ever to fight and Lashley gets a very good trainer. he would definitively beat Brock and send him back to Paul hayman.

They might be around the same size but that's where the comparison stops i would say Brock is a better athlete than Lashley and who has Lashley ever beaten?

PWInsider.com is reporting that several TNA stars, including Traci Brooks, Christy Hemme and Hernandez, are expected to return to TV at the set of Impact tapings this week.

I can't wait to see Traci back on screen,:nanner: layin' down some Knock-Out law and flaunting her massive cleavage.
