I still can't believe they jobbed out The Pope to OJ. Horrible decision even if they wanted a big pop when Pope got his revenge. No one cares about OJ and it just hurts the red hot D'angelo Dinero right now.

I'm glad Nigel is still getting booked decently.

OK, so the PPV was not that great, but some stuff worth mentioning.

First off it is horrible that 3D jobbed to The Nasty's (w/ Jimmy hart's help?!) in the worst match of the yr.

But, AJ (now w/ a with a hoodie robe..) and Joe had a a good match.

And, the Pope beat Anderson to become the #1 contender! SWEET!!!!!

I read the results and this just had me shaking my head. This really is just going to be Hogan's friends coming in and taking over for all of the wrestlers who have payed their dues. I'll bet anyone ten dollars that the first time AJ Styles faces one of these WCW relics in the ring, he will either lose or win by interference - even if it is some worthless talent like one of the Nasty Boys.

Against All Odds (2010)

  • D'Angelo Dinero defeated Desmond Wolfe (with Chelsea)
  • Matt Morgan defeated Hernandez
  • Mr. Anderson defeated Kurt Angle
  • The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) defeated Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon)
  • D'Angelo Dinero defeated Matt Morgan
  • Mr. Anderson defeated Abyss
  • A.J. Styles (c) (with Ric Flair) defeated Samoa Joe
  • D'Angelo Dinero defeated Mr. Anderson

Too much jobbing on this one.

I'm glad I didn't buy it.

Matt Morgan should have won, The Nasty Boys shouldn't been in TNA,
Abyss should have won

Hogan and Bischoff's WCW folks. :hatsoff:

Agreed about the Nastys for sure, that was horrible. At least Team 3D can put on good shows with the right teams but nobody, maybe not even the MCMGs could carry the Nastys.

I think the Pope winning was a great decision, he is easily one of the most over guys in Orlando, he can wrestle, and he can talk better than anyone in TNA. OJ beating Pope hurt the credibility and was soooooooo stupid.

Abyss should have beaten Mr. Anderson. They could have had Kurt comeback and cost Anderson the match. At least Kurt can get some watchable matches out of Mr. (Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it) Kennedy. I would much rather watch Arn Anderson matches on Youtube than ever see Mr. Anderson hurt himself and blow spots.

TNA was improving before Hogan and Eric came in, Desmond, D'Angelo, Morgan and The Young Bucks were all gonna be signed or were signed before Hulk showed up. Only people I enjoy wrestling that they've added after the Hogan deal are Hardy and Moore and they are doing nothing with them.

I kind of dig Flair and AJ and would love if the rumors of Flair being the JJ Dillon role in a new Horsemen like stable. Too bad Hulk and Eric hate Christopher Daniels as he AJ are awesome together and with Samoa Joe as the enforcer and maybe Morgan in the Sid/Windham role. Flair/AJ/Daniels/Joe you can add anyone else besides Paul Roma and you have great stable.

I agree, right after the Main Event Mafia were finished TNA was improving.

Now they have forced Hogan and Bischoff's WCW on us.

I have to get enough money to start my own promotion. ;)

Of course, that's if the Nasty Boys would work with the MCMGs. I bet the Nasty Boys think they're underneath them because they have never been in WWE.

RVD Says There's A Good Chance He'll Sign With TNA

Rob Van Dam appeared on the Right After Wrestling Sirius XM satellite radio show on Monday night and gave an update on his wrestling future.

Now that TNA iMPACT! is moving to Monday nights starting March 8th, could we see "Mr. Monday Night" back where he belongs? Van Dam said, "I feel fairly optimistic because I know TNA is trying really hard to make a good deal for me and that's basically where we're at."

He added that there's a "good possibility" he will consider an offer from TNA and WWE's hectic travel schedule is something he's not looking to relive. "Everything is worth putting on the table to consider, but when it comes time to consider going back to that full-time travel schedule with WWE, that's not something that I'm wanting to do right now," RVD said. "The schedule with TNA and also probably their appreciation for RVD might also be a benefit over WWE."

RVD says that WWE wants him back too, but TNA has been more pro-active about trying to sign him. "WWE would love to have me come back on a full-time basis, but as you know by pointing out that Hogan called into my radio show and stayed on for about an hour, they have been very pro-active and trying to acquire RVD," RVD said. "That leads me to believe I would have a good spot if things do work out there. We'll see."

WWE wants him, but RVD has not forgotten that he was unhappy towards the end of his last run there. "WWE had me so burnt out because my contract said I would get a weekend off every month and I never did and they wouldn't give it to me," RVD said. "When I would tell them I'm so burnt out I don't want to be here and I'm resenting traveling and coming to work every day, they would double-book me. So, that's how it went down."

A dream of mine for over 20 years.

Maybe a few of us Freeones peeps can put together a new promotion. It's a shame you didn't get 4 million for winning that 4 millionth post. Then the Freeones Wrestling Federation could be a! possibility.:glugglug:

That would have been amazing. It would be rough getting talent though, most are locked into exclusive deals.

TNA Runs a Bisexual Bit at Impact
by Nick Paglino
Feb 16, 2010

ProWrestling.net is reporting that TNA ran a controversial angle at last night's Impact taping when prior to his match, Orlando Jordan kissed a man before entering the ring. Apparently, Jordan came to the ring escorted by both a man and a woman, and prior to entering the ring he kissed both of them.

According to the report, several people backstage in TNA were not happy with the angle and felt that TNA was going too far. Sources think that something like that might turn off SpikeTV viewers as the network is geared towards programming for men.

It should be noted that prior to Jordan's release from WWE back in 2006, there was talk of having Jordan participate in some type of bisexual angle that would have involved former TNA Knockout Trinity. The idea was initially offered by Jordan himself as he lives a bisexual lifestyle outside of professional wrestling.

I agree with them and this airs on SpikeTV a channel for guys.

This is not going to go over well.

I, for one, cannot believe that Hogan approved that.

It doesn't surprise me in the slightest that TNA is running an angle like this.

Nothing is off limits to Bischoff and as far as he is concerned it will create controversy which will ultimately get more exposure for TNA which means more ratings.

This will most likely lead to an angle where OJ claims he is getting discriminated against due to his lifestyle.

has awful as it is . people who never watched tna will turn into to see what people are talking about

I, for one, cannot believe that Hogan approved that.

especially with what he rejects (which we dont know, its gotta be better than a dumb bisexual angle) i dont care about this guys lifestyle,he can do what he wants, i dont care about his personal life just like he should care about mine.leave it personal and off the air
