EXCLUSIVE: Details Behind Kevin Nash's TNA Suspension
by Nick Paglino
Nov 03, 2009

Following last week's announcement that Kevin Nash was suspended by TNA, I spoke to a source within the company who provided me with some more details behind the situation.

To begin with, the source informed me that unlike other talent suspensions, Nash was NOT contacted by anyone in management to inform him that he had been suspended. Rather, Nash was told that Vince Russo was instructed not to write him into the show last week, so Nash never made the trip to Orlando.

Additionally, it is said that whenever a talent is suspended by TNA, and this was the case when Kevin Nash was first suspended by the company, it is typical for TNA management to send a certified letter to the wrestler indicating that he or she has been suspended. Our source has claimed that Kevin Nash received no such letter this time around. Therefore, even though reports are stating that Nash has been "suspended," he has received no official documentation saying so.

Our source also informed us that several TNA talents have pay guarantees written into their contracts, and that Kevin Nash is believed to be one of those talents. The source then joked that TNA considers the suspension of Kevin Nash to be a "punishment," when the reality of the situation is that he's being paid to stay home and "relax on the beach."

At this point, we do not know how long Kevin Nash's suspension will last, but we will keep you up to date on the situation as more information comes in.

Update on Former WWE Star at Impact: Did Hogan Bring Him In?
by Nick Paglino
Nov 03, 2009

We reported several minutes ago that former WWE Tag Team Champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart is backstage at the TNA Impact tapings scheduled for tonight. ProWrestling.net has noted that his TNA booking did take place PRIOR to Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff signing with TNA, so bringing Neidhart in for the taping tonight was NOT a move made by either Hogan or Bischoff.

That's awesome!

I'm such a big fan of Jim ''The Anvil'' Neidhart.
Finally, he might do an appearance.
It would have been cool if both Bret and Jim, appearance together. I'm such a big fan of ''The Hart Foundation''. I love Jim ''The Anvil'' Neidhart, his daughter: Natalie Neidhart (Natalya) as well.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Hart family. You should check out Bret's book, it's a really good read.

With Hogan having alot of creative control of TNA, will it be sooner or later that Vince will see an opening to let some veteran wrestlers go, and they wind up on TNA?

It's been about 12 years ago when Vince didn't resign all the veterans and they wound up on WCW. Is history going to repeat itself, or will TNA develop young talent?

Breaking News: TNA Releases A Knockout
by Matt Boone

TNA Wrestling released Knockout Sojo Bolt yesterday.

Apparently there is no bad blood and she could be used again in the company in the future, but as of now, creative had nothing for her and decided to release her from her contract.

Jethro/Trevor Murdock just can't keep a job. Maybe he'll go back to WWE and start singing again. :1orglaugh

Backstage Update: Frankie 'Suicide' Kazarian's Future

As reported earlier, Frankie Kazarian asked for his release from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling at the last set of iMPACT! tapings in Orlando. The former X Division champion is reportedly unhappy playing the character known as Suicide and many say he's been complaining a lot in the locker room as of late about the way he's being used. Management initially accepted his request for his release from the company, but AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels talked him out of leaving, so no paperwork was drawn up.

Many felt Kazarian was making a big mistake by asking for his release since he's already burned a bridge with World Wrestling Entertainment by refusing to cut his hair when he was under contract to them in 2005. He subsequently asked for his release a few days later.

Report: Jethro Holliday Released By TNA

In addition to former Knockout Sojo Bolt being released by TNA, Jethro Holliday (former WWE star Trevor Murdoch) has also been removed from the "Roster" page over on TNAwrestling.com.

As is the case with Sojo Bolt, he may be used on a pay-per-appearance deal.

I was so happy that Jim Neidhart ''The Anvil'' appeared on TNA. He was in a match with Jay Lethal, it was a great match; Jim vs Jay. I just wish they will bring; Jim Neidhart ''The Anvil'' have him in the roster. I would love to see him in TNA. I'm more into him than Hulk.

Is it me or did The Anvil look fatter than usual?

He looks bigger/fatter. Despite his weight, he still has it.
It did really well in his match with Jay Lethal. They had a great match together, it was good.

Really? Turned away for a few seconds and when I looked back The Anvil already had his arm raised.
