I'm just under the impression Tiger didn't have to talk to authorities because he didn't want to (because he was rich) and I only have to assume he will get a pass on this cheating stuff too by the Tour because he's their cash cow.

It goes deeper than that: the system is setup entirely for the rich to get richer; why else would millionaires like McCain and Boosh and Pelosi push to have 30 million illegal aliens legalized? So people who have generations of family contributed to America have more competition? The whole damn system is rigged to wipe out the middle class...it stinks and you wonder why the average American is upset about life in America these days...

I can't disagree with you that there are more than a few double standards in the U.S. criminal justice system. You can look at different cases and find different standards (or results, really) based on gender, race, religion... and most especially, class/wealth.

But in Woods' case (so far), I'm not aware that he's gotten any special treatment from the Highway Patrol. Although I doubt they would have made three attempts to come to the average person's house for an interview. After one or maybe two tries, they'd probably just write the ticket. But you don't have to talk to the cops. Especially if you think you're in the wrong, you really SHOULDN'T open your mouth.
