That is what I'm thinking. We must establish the run early. If we can't run the ball, it will be a long game for us. Our quarterbacks are still raw.
Thanks Ryan Perriloux...Jackass.
This is exactly what happened. #32 Charles Scott ran for 132 yards and caught a pass or two. It was a long 1st quarter for our QB's. In the 2nd half though, QB #12 Jarrett Lee came out with his big arm, hung in the pocket and made some quality throws. His final touchdown pass to #1 WR Brandon LaFell was a beautiful sight. He put it only where LaFell could get it, much the way Matt Flynn did in his touchdown pass to #2 WR Demetrius Byrd in the waning seconds of last years Auburn game. All you Les-haters can hold on to your thoughts of him as an idiot, but he coached circles around Tommy T. The on-side kick caught Auburn with their pants around their ankles as did the half-back touchdown pass from #5 RB Keiland Williams to Byrd. The guys up front on defense, while not getting to the quarterback much, shut down the Auburn running backs to the tune of 36 carries for just 70 yards. #84 DE Rahim Alem sacked Auburn quarterback Chris Todd, putting them in a 4th and 25 to go forcing a desperation pass that was completed but 2 yards shy of a 1st down. LSU took over on downs and ran out the clock, winning the game in grand style 26-21. Congratulations to #29 CB Chris Watkins on his two interceptions and #86 WR Chris Mitchell on his first touchdown reception.
My picks
