Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
How does one cop's action in the middle of the country affect the relationship of citizens and cops in other parts of the country? There have already been enough victims in this case.

Whatever the verdict was his career in Ferguson is over. If the grand jury was in his favor, he cannot patrol because of possible retaliation. If the jury was in favor for Brown, even if he wasn't convicted, it would still be difficult to be in law enforcement. There is still the possibility of federal charges. I will admit, it's hard for the police to show restraint when what I am looking at now reminds me of Assault On Precinct 13.

Why is Dear Leader interrupting NCIS: Los Angeles? He shouldn't comment on ANY ongoing criminal case or decision. It's irresponsible. And the potential rioters aren't going to listen.

If you were watching MNF like every red blooded 'merican guy you would not have been interrupted. :)

I will admit rioters aren't very smart. Immediately after the verdict is when the police would be on guard. Also, as I said before, I will never understand why I would destroy my own neighborhood.

He's trying to ease tensions. With no indictment being returned, there is no ongoing investigation. It's over.

I'm sure if he didn't say anything you'd likely bitch about that. In your world, Obama sucks no matter what and everyone here knows that so....:dunno:

And to give credit where credit is due; Dear Leader has not caused the Earth to rotate wildly out of orbit or caused the poles to reverse. Yet.

So sue me. I think you need to go to Wegman's for more talcum powder, Bubba.. And I'm not at all convinced that you don't live on another planet so....maybe they have Wegman's there too.

That said, why did McCullough wait until 8:00 o'clock at night to announce this? It's like he was hoping to get the worst possible response from the black community. Fucking stupid and irresponsible. Luckily for humanity, it looks like cooler heads are prevailing for the most part....at least so far. That could change....hope it doesn't.

Additionally, I think the decision by the GJ was probably the correct one. Mike Brown should have done what officer Wilson told him to. To resist and possibly get into a physical confrontation with a policeman is just plain stupid. Still, a family has lost a son and I feel for his parents. Wilson will have to live with this for the rest of his life. The racial tension and mistrust of the white establishment is only embellished. No one wins in this deal. In so many ways we have not come very far in the past 50 years. Shame on us.

I have to agree with you...You think after previous protests in America...society would by now get the picture but it seems like they never will. Yes ppl got a right to be angry and frustrated but rioting never solves anything and in a way those who do decide to riot is basically giving the media their money's worth. Despite what went on last night, my heart goes out to the Brown family and to the city of Ferguson. Life goes on yes...and yet, society can still make a difference :2 cents:

With all the damage done, why would a community expect business to return? Repair and rebuild on your own time and dime accepting all the risk and consequence.
