The National Federation of Atheist, Humanist and Secular Student's has been formed in the UK as every religion has a group on campus in the universities except for the atheist's.
Chloe Clifford-Frith, 22, who has just graduated from Oxford University and will be dealing with the federation's public affairs, said: "We live in a world where religious governments execute adulterers and homosexuals, deny women and minority groups basic freedoms, and circulate fraudulent claims about contraception and scientific research.
As an Atheist myself it's good to see that now we actually have a voice to defend ourselves from the religions who try to ***** their beliefs upon us and together can actually say we believe in the science and facts not the faith and beliefs. And that people believe that the government should be neutral and not have strong belief in one religion to back it up.
Although i am an Atheist i do respect all other religions and have no problem with others who wish to believe in their own religion, neither is this thread supposed to be an ****** on any religion.
All i wan't to know is what are your views on Athiest's uniting and campaigning for a more neutral living condition for our multi-cultural societies?
