Suppertime! Suppertime! Hey Fellas, What'd You Have For Supper Tonight?

2 pan fried burghers. Just mustard and ketchup on them and Cape Cod sea salt and vinegar potato chips, washed it down with sweet iced tea. Fit to eat.

Hot and fresh Fried Chicken from the Ralph’s prepared by the nice black lady who works there who reminds me of the gal in the Popeye’s commercials.

I made a couple of Rainbow Trout, my friend caught. I just stood them on the slit in the belly, over a couple of lemon wedges...after squeezing fresh lemon on the fish, and a little salt and pepper. Served it with mashed potatoes, and broccoli rob. It was petty good, but trout is better smoked. It isn't the most flavorful fish.

Chili dogs again, pot pie and baked potato. Thinking now bout pizza... :wiggle:

I barbequed pork chops in a roasting pan and put the barbecue sauce over mashed potatoes with corn on the cob. Washed it all down with delicious refreshing sweet iced tea. Sure was good!

I found a great BBQ sauce in of all places, the hardware store. It's called "Pigs Ass". Not sweet, but not very hot...just a little nip of heat, with a sort of tangy quality.

I make my own with tomato paste, onion, vinegar, molasses and mustard, salt and pepper.

Busy day at school, didn't feel like cooking, ordered in; Szechuan-style bean curd, moo shu vegetables, and shrimp chow mein. I've had 3 plates already, was full for a brief period of time, and am now hungry again. Odds are I'll end up finishing it before I go to bed tonight.

Even better. I need to add that to my list of things I want to try and make from scratch.

Did I use this one before?

Cheese burger and a bag of Frito's...chili and cheese flavor. They're like crack. Salty greasy crack.

More Vietnamese Food from Mama Hong’s on Wilshire Bl in Brentwood. Their BBQ Rib Eye plate with shrimp, egg roll, salad, and rice is very good. Don’t forget to get some Sriracha Wings for an appetizer.

Last night I made Irish fish cakes with a remoulade; a yellow and zucchini squash salad with basalmic dressing and pralines; braised beef short ribs with roasted potatoes and carrots and Bob's favorite new panty remover (banana's Foster).

Best all-around dinner party I've hosted yet. Usually I'm hyper critical of everything I make but one of our guests is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef and he loved it (In the past when I've been critical of my efforts, he's helped to pinpoint what could have helped the situation).
