Westwood Bl just south of UCLA is the Persian/Middle Eastern Food Mecca out here. Shamshiri Grill is my go-to place for Persian Food. They have great kebabs and delicious rice.

Wow! 2 double quarter pounders is quite a feat. I had a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich and a Caesar salad. Washed down with a glass of iced tea.

It was a pleasant dining experience.

Yes it is and thank you. They were some of the best Double Quarter Pounders w/cheese I've ever had as they were so fresh they were almost too hot to eat.

I haven’t had much luck with McDonald’s lately. The bun has been stale the last two times that I have been there.

I heard that today was national meatball day so I stopped off at Elizabeth’s Pizza and got the spaghetti and meatballs to go. It’s always good.

I washed it down with a Cabernet.

Pizza and salad. Not great pizza, but half wat into a bottle of Woodford Reserve, and I'm not about to drive....even to the corner pizzeria.

Went to Bob's Big Boy in Burbank. So glad that place is still there after all the closings of other Bob's Big Boys. Had the Super Big Boy Combo Burger which is like a high quality Big Mac with fries and salad on the side. For dessert I got their famous and delicious Hot Fudge Cake.

We used to have Shoney’s Big Boy here on the east coast and there aren’t that many around anymore. When I visited Oklahoma City I ate at a Kip’s Big Boy and it was the same thing. They also have a fine breakfast bar.
I think I’ll have a bacon cheeseburger tonight. You got me hungry for one.
Those hot fudge cakes are fucking awesome, haven’t had one in years. Is it the kind with ice cream sandwiched between the layers? Holy shit!
