I wouldn't worry about it. Jaana was kind enough to derail your derailing with "blah blah and blah...", then Philbert rerailed your derail, so I think the onus is on him at this point.

Ah, I wouldn't worry about it. This is the Internet, and a lot of people don't read past the first post before responding. Hell, some people only read the thread title. You have to remember... common consensus is that reading is for chumps.

Really? Probably not many. Most people who decide to get into semantics involving that type of hyperbole (which pretty much everyone uses from time to time, because it's onerous to qualify everything you say) there are already looking to pick a fight, and are just poking at anything they can.

Don't lump me into the shit heads and their talking points. My conservative viewpoints blow their shit out of the water. Just as an example, gay marriage. There is nothing in the constitution referring to marriage. That is a state decision. Secondly, don't regulate everything. Leave people alone to live their lives. Both are basic conservative stands. The politically right have no business making this into that issue. If someone is labeling me a RINO then they are dead fucking wrong. They are the ones trying to grab the party via social issues based on nothing relating to true conservatism. Like I said, that is only 1 example and there are dozens more.

I install satellite for Dish Network, and every week meet 15 or more different people and spend hours at their house...and we do talk. I meet many Spanish only Latinos, American bilinguals, Black (too bad you don't wanna allow Black people their Noun of choice...deal with it) who are mostly Otrama zombies and spout the usual BS about their new power.
And sometimes I meet White Dems, different from Southern Baptist type Black Dems and sometimes not mindless party hacks like most Dems I meet. Same for many Repubs mostly Whites, a few Latinos and Blacks who have no use for the Left.
