The Yak: Anna is turning 28 on Wednesday.
Her: (Jealously) Why do you know that?
The Yak: Because we are having a damn party at work. I have to buy cupcakes. You don't have to worry, I am not having sex with her. I wish I was. That would be improvement in my life but is not taking place or even a remote possibility.

I have devoted considerable time this afternoon to what I would do were I being *********** by bad men and they told me I had to go viral by being mean to the cutest, happiest, sweetest barista they could find. They have told me if she isn't sobbing they will end the life of a small human. Could I go through with it? She might have sex with me. I don't want to be mean to her. It's not even my offspring. That's the movie. Guy receives video by text of men menacing young human but it's a misdial. Guy does what the criminals tell him to out of shared humanity. I don't care about this person's brat. Have you seen this woman? I can't burn whatever chance I've got.

I .. somewhat encountered this. I attend high performance driving events. Before each one, a driver's meeting is held, to go over how the event will run, timing of the lunch break, etc. A number of years ago, they "added" something to the effect of: if a car is in accident, do not immediately take out your cell phones, and take pictures! Check to see if the occupant(s) are okay, is the gas tank ruptured, is anything on fire, etc. I checked with peeps who do every event .. and a Subaru WRX STi flipped, the prior event. At a 90-degree turn, one of his tires left the pavement, and with the .. centrifigal *****, the tire / wheel "bit" into the dirt and the side of the asphalt. The closest course workers were the ones who wanted to take pictures of the event (first)..
