Scary Movie vs Blazing Saddles

Scary Movie by far, it was just funnier. The only reason I didnt turn off blazing saddles was cause of the redhead.

blazing saddles is definitely better although the first scary movie was very good too. the second wasn't bad but after that they went down the shitter...

Blazing Saddles.

You do know that in the shitty arsed PC world of today this movie would NEVER get greenlighted in a million years.

Sheriff: "Morning mam. Nice day isn't it"
Old Lady: "Up yours n*gger!"

Sheriff [to two KKK guys in robes]: "Where the white women at?!"

Slave driver: "Dock that ***** a days wage for nappin on the job"

Blazing Saddles is pure genius so it is. It's just jokes in a funny movie but it's bound to send the PC mentality crowd mad hehe.

Blazing Saddles.

Young Frankenstein.

Dracula: Dead and Loving It (or as my Czech Republic DVD import says on the cover "Draculoviny").
I had to import it as the damn thing isn't out in the UK on DVD.

The History of the World: Part One.

These are my favourite Mel Brooks movies.

:dito:

What he said. :)

Cleavon Little: "Excuse me while I whip this out!!"

Classic. :D

Other very good Mel Brooks films besides Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and The History of the World: Part I : Silent Movie and Spaceballs.

Any Mel Brooks movie will beat a movie that Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer had a part in.

As the other posters mentioned Blazing Saddles whould never be made today because of the PC society we live in. Remember this movie was made in '74, think of the strife during and a few years prior. Either it would be the classic that it is or it would thought of as Once Upon A Time In America. Also Richard Pryor was one of the writers for the movie. You had Gene Wilder, Dom Deluise, Harvey Korman, Madelline Khan, Clevon Little acting in it. The one problem with Scary Movie was it used a lot current things that will be passe years from know, where Blazing Saddle only used the limo and some of the scenes in Hollywood at the end.
One of my favorites scenes.

Thanks Bahodeme :) Plus you do have a bit of the Looney Tunes! ...

"Mongo like candy". The amazing Alex Karras.

...or if Richard Pryor had been allowed to be the Sherrif?

He helped write the movie......that part was supposed to be for him.
