Well, considering the opponent, I'd say not much effort was required.
Oh....wait....I just realized you weren't talking about the game against the Leafs! Sorry....my bad!
PS- Sorry to stir up ****, Dirk. I actually like the Leafs. I am just worried that it might be time to officially declare this thread DEAD unless we start getting more action here. Guess we'll find out when the playoffs roll around. :dunno:

If Lacavalier would have simply saucered it with a quick little flip of the wrist instead of trying to rip it like he was at the blue line he would have easily scored. Of course, I shouldn't laugh. The Blues lead the league in shots that have rung off the post or crossbar this year. Lecavalier got the trifecta on this one however so does that count as three??? :dunno:

Oh, and the bruins got right back on track tonight, giving the Hawks nothing and extending their points streak to 14 straight (13-0-1)

And doing the Blues a favor in the process. The Bruins seem to be hitting on all 8 right now.
Oh....and the Blues seem to finally be out of their scoring funk as they showed Minnesota an excellent example of why they don't want to face them in the first round.

Dudes....I'm a Blues fan....hockey's version of the Chicago Cubs. No way am I thinking that far ahead. We'll throw some smack if and when and not a day earlier. As for the ****....I'll take a Dos Equis Amber, no lime please.
The battle for the East wildcards is fierce right now. Four teams tied with 80 points. It should be a dogfight....Sorry Dirk but the way things are going now, I see Toronto and the Caps losing out. The Leafs D is in a shambles.
