Sorry to hear about Barry Melrose, but it's not a surprise. He had been out of the coaching game for a long time. He was a strange pick for the Lightening. Melrose and his horrible suits need to be back on ESPN...

All I can say is FINALLY they beat the Habs. It was headache-inducing to read loss after loss after loss...and most by that 6-1 score lately too...

I think I can call the Boston Brass and give you Lucic for Anna Nikova? Sound fair?

Lucic is a *** any team would be lucky to have. i remember watching him beat the snot out of Tampa's then tough guy Nick Tarnasky last year. i knew from then on he'd be a *****.

Im depressed at my Habs - but, wow, your Bruins are definatly rocking. 6-1 was one of the most humiliating loss for the Habs in the past few years... And as if it wasnt enough, Lucic kicked Komisarek's ass so badly that Komisarek is injured, will be out of the lineup at least for next game.

I really enjoyed Claude Julien coaching while he was with us. He is really doing wonders with with the Bruins.

You know, I used to work with a Canadian who lived in Montreal and was a HUGE BRUINS fan. I don't remember if he was born in Montreal or not. I worked with him probably 7 years ago. He'd go to several games in Boston too.

It's tough being a casual hockey fan today in the U.S. I'm really a casual Bruins fan. I recently moved to the Pacific Northwest and I don't get any hockey on Cable, no Versus network either. I thought I'd get Avalanche games which would be better than nothing.

I'll check out that thread...

i will say this, they had MUCH more energy and many more chances than they have in weeks. i hope this is the beginning of a turnaround.
