those shiesty penalties won't be called in the playoffs! :dunno:

Start of the Season - Referees are harsh.
After Christmas - Referees are closing their eyes in the 3rd period.
With 10-15 games left in the season - Referees are calling penalities when its too obvious to not be called.
Playoffs - Where are the referees? :D

Anyway, you know how it works.

The best hockey always come after Christmas.

Its ridiculous how the referees have put their print on the result of the PIT-DET game... Detroit arent even playing a dirty game - its just absurd to have been penalised that much in the end game

I know its just agravating, Detroit leads 5 - 2 in the 3rd!! Detroit doesn't lose games like that!!! if it were not for the REFS Detroit would have held their goals margin and soundly whipped the penguins!! errrr!!! :cussing:

if Melrose isn't replaced soon, we're well on our way to having an incredible team finish dead last for the second year in a row. (last year's goaltending sucked, obviously, but we still shouldn't have finished last)

This year the goaltending has been solid ( not tonight ) and the only reason they are losing is bad coaching that leads to a very bad offense. Also the power play sucks but that's not just because of Melrose , is has a lot to do with a certain Dan Boyle being traded. What a bad bad bad bad trade .

4-0 loss to the worst damn team in the league. if they're not gonna get rid of Melrose, they might as well trade St. Louis, Lecavalier, Prospal, Malone and Stamkos. those guys deserve to be where they're appreciated and can actually be played the way the should be.

i'm so fucking pissed right now it's not even funny.

Yes! Luongo breaks his own franchise record!

Awesome stuff.

Btw, why do they always call it "The Forsberg Move" when he only did that once? Alexei Zhamnov perfected the move and scored probably a dozen times using it well before Floppa ever used it.

Refs don't call penalties in the playoffs EXCEPT for the Red Wings. How many 5-3's did Detroit have to kill in last years playoffs. I believe they had at least 2 a round.

I am sorry your post was kind of vague! are you agreeing with my earlier post or are you arguing it?? :dunno:

Lecavalier , ST.Louis and Prospal are veterans so they'll get over it , but what makes me very angry is that Melrose is destroying Stamkos right now and it's not good for the kid , he's loosing confidence and it can prevent him from becoming the great player he is supposed to .

It was a very disappointing loss for my Blue Jackets last night to the Coyotes. It was the first game of the year for me. The Jackets were on a three game winning streak, but seemed to lack energy (after 3 days rest) and they played no D.

so we play the Red Wings tonight. do we need to be destroyed 11-0 before the coach is replaced? guess we'll find out tonight...

Boston at Montreal tonight.

2 games in 2 days for Boston. Montreal had 1 day of rest. It should announce the result of the tonight game. :)

Tampa fans - I'm wholehearty behind you regarding Melrose. That guy shouldm't have been hired in the first place and now he is destroying your team, the spirit and... Stamkos :(

He talked about being a tough team. Don't know if it's him or the GM to blame.

Canucks lose 2-1 in a shootout to Colorado last night. Luongo falls to 0-5-2 in his last 7 against the Avs. Toronto comes in Saturday. Pavol Demitra likely back in the lineup for the Canucks

I'm not absolutely refuting anything you're saying, but I remember when the Red Wings lost in the first round to the Oilers is '06 they were getting 2498723982734982374 calls in their favour, so although they may be treated unfairly at times by the referees, I think if you were to remain entirely objective you would see that the referees give them a lot of calls due to the level of respect they have for the organization and its players. I will never forget the BLATANT pick that Nicklas Lidstrom set against the Oilers that wasn't called. EVERYONE in the hockey world was screaming out for that one to be called as it was an obvious interference call. Even so, the Oilers overcame the unfair officiating and won that series, and then went on to lose in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final :weeping:. Excuse me while I go and cry for a bit; unfortunately I conjured some extremely painful memories while writing this post.

Nikki:

How many minutes have Luongo played without allowing a goal? He was on a godly streak!

Im disgusted at my Habs...

A little over 10 mins left to the game and its now... 6-1 for Bruins. 6-1!

Check out on youtube tomorrow for the fight between Lucic and Komisarek - it was a real fight! I will try to find the link tomorrow and post it here.
